Yahoo only awarded Chicago D/St  x5 Three and outs but I watched every down of that game and the GB punter had 9 kicks.

Am i missing something obvious ?

Silly question, but were the other 4 punts after GB moved the ball a bit, i.e. got a first down or more so not 3 and out?

I have managed to win with the lowest points total of all this weeks winners! 😎

  2. Watched the game at the sports bar in resorts world with a friend who is back from the US for a bit and happens to be a Dallas and Blues fan..... it was not an enjoyable experience!  Potentially the worst defensive display i have ever seen from the Giants, just pathetic from all 11 positions and the DC.  I dont see that side of the ball getting much better, which is a shame as i think behind this rebuilt Oline, Barkley could have a serious shot at breaking records.

Having said that i think Dallas is a very good team and the schedule is a bit more favourable the next two weeks with the Bills and the Buccs so if we struggle in those then its going to be a very long year and we might as well throw things over to Jones if we come out of those games without a win.

To confirm compared to last year,

Its 0.5 ppc instead of 1ppc.

    its 2ppr instead of 1ppr

QB completions gone down from 1 to 0.5

all milestone bonuses have been decreased

So WRs and TEs will score more especially ones who catch alot but QBs and bellcow RBs will score less?

also have we changed anything on Def?

I think this covers most changes.  Its the same for defense but all scoring settings should be reviewable to all managers under the settings on the league tab on Yahoo.

  4. Just updated in reverse order to the above, so The Brown Stuff with the #1 pick and Maq Attack last pick.

Its a snaking draft: In Snaking drafts (standard), pick order reverses each round. So, the team with the first pick in odd-numbered rounds gets the last pick in even rounds. Non-snaking drafts don't reverse, so the same team gets the first pick in every round.

  5. I manually set the order last night from Brumericans first post in this thread but i think i **** up and need to reverse it by the looks of things!  Did i really finish 3rd last year!? :)

    1.Maq Attack  14th

    2.Lancs Villans  13th

    3.The PlayBook of Eli  12th

    4.Brown Dolphins  11th

    5.Old Kodjias  10th

    6.Filthy Fellas 9th

    7.rhyscartwright_avfc  8th

    8.Punters Unanimous 7th

    9.Great Olof's Vikings  6th

    10.London Champs  5th

    11.It Ertz when Eifert  4th

    12.Rodney's Trotters  3rd

    13.Lockett Like Its Hot  2nd

    14.The Brown Stuff  1st

  6. There was no guarantee that Jones would have been there later in the draft.  If you like a QB enough to be the franchise you go and get him.  I liked what i saw on his first drive the other night and hope he is a resounding success so he can stick it to the scumbag media who were trashing him, the selection and the Giants.

  7. Lets work through current offensive scoring then keeping in mind that it has always been a PPR league and alternative scoring system.  Currently set as follows:

Offense League Value Yahoo Default Value
    Completions 1 0
Passing Yards 15 yards per point; 5 points at 300 yards; 5 points at 350 yards; 10 points at 400 yards 25 yards per point
    Passing Touchdowns 6 4
    Interceptions -2 -1
    Rushing Attempts 1 0
Rushing Yards 10 yards per point; 5 points at 100 yards; 5 points at 150 yards; 10 points at 200 yards
    Rushing Touchdowns 6
    Receptions 1 0.5
Receiving Yards 10 yards per point; 5 points at 100 yards; 5 points at 150 yards; 10 points at 200 yards
    Receiving Touchdowns 6
Return Yards 20 yards per point; 5 points at 100 yards; 5 points at 200 yards; 5 points at 300 yards 0
    Return Touchdowns 6
    2-Point Conversions 2
    Fumbles Lost -2
    Offensive Fumble Return TD 6

    How about the following?

Offense League Value Yahoo Default Value
    Completions 0.5 0
Passing Yards 25 yards per point; 3 points at 300 yards; 4 points at 400 yards, 5 points at 500 yards 25 yards per point
    Passing Touchdowns 6 4
    Interceptions -2 -1
    Rushing Attempts 0.5 0
Rushing Yards 10 yards per point; 2 points at 100 yards; 3 points at 150 yards; 5 points at 200 yards
    Rushing Touchdowns 6
    Receptions 2 0.5
Receiving Yards 10 yards per point; 2 points at 100 yards; 3 points at 150 yards; 5 points at 200 yards
    Receiving Touchdowns 6
Return Yards 20 yards per point; 1 points at 100 yards; 2 points at 200 yards; 3 points at 300 yards 0
    Return Touchdowns 6
    2-Point Conversions 2

I'm not fussed either way . I'd rather have WR's get 2 points per catch and TE's 3 points.

    Like this idea.

Do we just want to nerf RB's or bump the stats of all the other positions?  I liked the points per rush on RB's because it added more value to backs on the waiver wire later in the season when you need to find something off the scrap heap to remain competitive if your stud RB goes down injured.  Happy to apply this same standard to WR's, TE's etc whilst perhaps nerfing the bonuses and scoring on QB's a tad?

Just waiting for psychotic rant from @kkr

I'm ok with it.  I would have liked another pick or two in there but compared to the AB trade i think the Giants did ok with a player who clearly didnt want to be with the team anymore and is the archetypal diva receiver.  Had things carried on we would be in AB territory with no choice but to trade him and for peanuts.  Probably a year too late, but not too too late either.

Whilst an incredible talent he missed 25% of the games through injury, had the infamous boat party before a playoff loss to the Packers, did an interview last season saying he wasnt sure about being with the team anymore and by all accounts was a locker room cancer.  I'm happier to build in the trenches, find a new QB to take the torch from Eli and hand the reigns over to them and Saquon as faces of the franchise rather than OBJ.

We lost with him, we can rebuild and hopefully get better without him.

That being said he should do well In Cleveland if Mayfield, Landy and OBJ can all co-exist.
