General I have to say how delighted I am that you and your American friends have become involved in our fantastic football club. It hasn't been easy being a Villa fan over the past few years but you and the team have been a breath of fresh air. Not only is there a sense of expectation around the club again, but a sense of professionalism, both in the way the team are playing and the way in which you and your fellow directors have approached/treated the fans. For instance your posts on this site (and others) is unheard of in English football let alone the Villa! I wondered, do you or any of the Browns Directors contribute to fans sites in the US? Keep up the good work and up the VILLA!!!

What did Ellis say in Hanover?

I haven't been watching the boards at all since I heard the news about MON and spent last night (and most of this morning!!) celebrating his arrival! It can't be a coincidence that Randy's jet was here the day MON joined can it? Why does it seem that everyones mood towards the possiblity of a take over seem to have changed? Have I missed something?

Sorry, ignore my last post, I've just read SSN!!! Still not sure though, they've been wrong a few times lately!

How can we be so sure MON will be confirmed tomorrow. I don't doubt that we are getting tips from various sources, but does anyone actually know whats going on at VP at the moment, it's a circus!!

Not sure if anyone has just seen SSN but they are saying that a takeover could still be weeks away as any prospective owner needs to audit the clubs accounts!!!!! If this is true I am not sure if I could handle it!!!

I'm with you, uni exams were less hassle!! I have done any work for the past week because of this takeover!!!

Hi everyone, I'm new to VT but have been addicted to this thread ever since the Comers were interested so I thought it was about time I added my thoughts! I have to agree I agree with PB, both Neville and Padfield seem desperate to me. If Baggie Bill is to be believed then Neville is being bank rolled by Petchy and may even be the stalking horse people are suggesting he is, in which case it wouldn't surprise me if his latest comments are designed to extract a bid from Randy.
