Pogba given a 4 year ban for testing positive for a banned substance

With the amount he’s actually played in recent years he could argue he’s already served his ban 😂

Expert in what? Aston Villa probably🤣

Jeez, that is truly getting to the bottom of the barrel if you have Troy Deeney on as an expert....Did they have a translator for old sloth? Can't understand him half the time 🤣

Another unintelligible ex-pro who spectacularly failed at management (not to mention his criminal conviction for assaulting his ex partner) so makes perfect sense for Sky to hire him.

surely there’s better ex-footballers out there?!?

  3. Haven’t really watched SSN for a while now as felt it had become really dumbed down and was just noise fixated on their favourites.

Had a few minutes spare so flicked over to find Troy Deeney gurning at me from their ‘expert’ panel… switched it off.

  4. As for Everton, if they’re found guilty of the second breach then they should be docked a further 6 points, making them worse off than before - maybe they should’ve just asked to remain at 10 for both breaches?

I wonder how Leicester, Southampton and Leeds feel about it?

Can’t wait for the Man City deductions next

With the litigation power City can afford, the Premier League will probably end up awarding Man City +10 points instead…

  6. 2 episodes into Colin From Accounts and laughing hard!

If it keeps the same standard throughout it'll be right up there.

Also note the second season of Extraordinary is coming to Disney+ on 7th March. The first season was excellently kooky and now available on ITVX

Jump was too big really, was playing in league one last year. Needed a season in the championship first. Or even Burnley to sign an experienced keeper (I'm sure they were linked with getting Heaton back last summer) who they could've put in for a spell when Trafford struggled.

Teams have realised if you crowd around him at set pieces he hasn't really filled out so plenty of set piece goals to score v them.

Totally agree with this. Hopefully it won’t damage him too much as previously with other young keepers.

It’s a tricky position to learn your trade at a young age as generally you sit on the bench waiting for an injury to give you a chance.

He might go on to have a good career but at the moment he is completely shit

…In a poor team - what chance does he have?

wish we’d stop continually labelling players shit or the worst ever etc etc. the hyperbole when describing players is pathetically childish - it’s like being in a school playground.

Surely Watkins makes the Euro squad despite Southgate’s ineptitude. Watkins has arguably been player of the season so far!

You’d like the think so but we know the ineptness and bitterness of Southgate too.

  10. Watkins won’t push for a move if he doesn’t make the Euros.

Hopefully this will be the last tournament under the management of Southgate and we can bring in someone else who doesn’t hate our club and loathed to select players despite form.

Ollie Watkins, 24 goal involvements this season.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin. No goals in 20 games.

Best get a few quid on DLC making the euros squad.

I think Southgate will take Kane (obviously), Rashford and Toney as his striking options along with Grealish, Foden, Saka and Cole Palmer as his attacking options.

Even if he took Watkins, he wouldn’t get many minutes.

Trafford is an absolutely catastrophic keeper

I don’t think he’s that bad but isn’t helped by an extremely substandard defence and midfield in front of him.

he’s very young and lacks experience, which can’t be helped - I think he’ll go on to have a decent career.

  13. Well, no surprises in today’s results.

Ireland barely had to get out of second gear, despite Wales rallying for 20 minutes in the second half.

I totally expected Scotland to win but England played their part (both in a good and a bad way) in the match.

England had a good game plan but it was so so poorly executed, which gifted Scotland into the game.

Fair play to Scotland, they took their chances in clinical fashion.

Way too many individual errors ultimately cost England the game and the return of Ollie Lawrence had no impact whatsoever.

Idles are the only band I've heard of on that list ..

tbf there could be a few more but  the poster is like an opticians eye chart and I cant read anything after line 10 :)

Off the top of my head, Baxter Dury, Sprints, Gruff Rhys, Ty Segall and Big Special are at the top of list to see.

some really good younger bands on the bill too like Militaire Gun, Gurriers and Hot Wax.

best of it is, it’s only 15,000 capacity so not stupidly big and busy and set in lovely woodland grounds

have this on right now and it’s brilliant!

a little jazzy/loungey but psychedelic at the same time. Some great drumming, bass lines and horns!

if you like the last few Pepe Deluxe albums it might be worth checking out.

I posted a track from it in the what song are you listening to thread.

those £160 tickets are now selling for £250 on Ticketmaster for people without the code

I got in this morning but couldn't bring myself to buy a ticket , basically would have been going on my own as everyone else said " How **** much"

I've seen them twice , don't need a third time that much

What's interesting is the bloke that leaked all the world tour dates on the web couple of months ago( and was pretty much 99% correct ) had PJ for the 28th in London as well ... I think the £160 has killed demand and they wont add the second date now

PS - aren't Murder Capital also supporting them along with Ashcroft ?

Nope Murder Capital are the Manchester support

its not as if they’ve grabbed a load of their old buddies from Seattle and made a day of it.

for £90 more I’ve got a ticket to End of the Road festival - four days of excellent stuff!

  17. Got through the Ticketmaster Pearl Jam ballot so could’ve bought tickets today.

however, the £160 a ticket price put me right off (that and the only support slot going to Richard Ashcroft!)
