I think Phil Mepham might read a statment at the start along the lines of.... "Can I ask for no questions about the takeover, we are hear to discuss the appointment of Martin O'Neill" What will follow will be boring questions and the odd question about the takeover which will be rejected.

Sky Sports News reckon Lerner is definitely back in for Villa.

They have Prof Tom Cannon (Who?) on now talking about Villa. "Ellis is a great poker player, has a great hand....." "Villa are one of the great franchises in european football" "Ellis will sell"

They showed a small clip of Lerner and said something about his interest in Villa. I think they'll show it in more detail as it was in the headlines.
