  1. I thought yes handball, but I don't think it would have been given the other way.

Absolutely right. That's a refereeing issue which I best not get started on.

and it wasn't.. clear handball in the box, in the second half by Manu and nothing given

  2. You couldn't be Moore wrong...(see what I did there) Moore, easily the best bond, by a huge distance..

I think Craig will definitely take the top spot though!!

  3. News of the World is reporting we're going to offer Angel plus £8m for Keane.

Not sure how I feel about that.

No, I would hate that  . If JPA has to go, I don't want him to go to another prem team - or even another English Team - Spain or back to River Plate - rather he stayed though and maybe started taking his coaching badge or maybe start doing media work - he could be really good at that.

Jesus. Some Villa fans have been deprived of true quality plyers for too long. Let the waste of space go.

    have to agree

He has done nothing for anyone to want him to stay around so much.

To move forward your supposed to get rid of the deadwood that holds you back, angel should be first in line for players we need to get rid of.

There are way worse players than JPA, your hatred really gets in the way sometimes. Lets think DJx2, Hughes, JLS, Sutton, Delaney, McCann and if form continues Petrov, should all be out the door before JPA IMO of course!!

  4. There's no such thing as free will.

Yes there is but don't make me find the last post where we had this debate and resort to copy and paste :-) though your toaster post does deserve another airing ....

they would reply "don't be so daft I don't want to be Gay" - in other words they are unable to choose to be Gay, because something is stopping them making that decision. They can't actually choose to be gay.

whilst I can see your argument to my eye it's kind of flawed (but I could be having another dim moment) swap "gay" for "serial killer" in your example ..

"don't be so daft I don't want to be a serial killer " - in other words they are unable to choose to be a serial killer , because something is stopping them making that decision. They can't actually choose to be a serial killer.

in which case what makes a person a serial killer ? surely it comes down to choice ?

Pretty much that supports my argument. Prove me wrong - shcoose to be a serial killer. You just can't. You're not "wired up" to commit mass murders (I hope, eek) Tony.

There was something in the news maybe 3 months ago about a man who had a brain tumour. This normal bloke became sexually extremely deviant, criminally so had his intent been carried through. The tumour was found, removed successfully and he returned to normality once the pressure on his brain was removed.

His brain was to all intents changed by the tumour, but when it was removed, it was fine again.

There was no choice, he didn't choose to get paedophile impulses.

I'd look for a link, but it's not the sort of thing I want to search for on t'interweb, frankly.

The sounds desperately like an episode of SVU, I watched last week!!

  5. I have no problem with homosexuals, none at all... If that's your orientation, knock yourself out... same as blokes who like fat chicks... I couldn't care less, it's great people can express there choices!

and to quote Blackadder, "But still why should I complain? Just leaves more rampant totty for us real men, eh?"

  6. I read somewhere that homosexuality was unknown amongst the people of polynesia before explorers landed there. Now it does exist. This would tend to indicate that lifestyle does play a part. Perhaps this is one of those things that cannot be pigeonholed into a single cause.

I noticed this has been ignored.... now I don't know if this is true, but a strange fact of so...

I wonder, do are people born liars? Or is that a choice? are people born Burgalars? Or is that a choice? Are people born to be Missionaries, Priests, Teachers? No, I'd say not... definitely believe it is choice..
