  1. Seeing as this poxy stop the march has managed over 300,000 members , my travelling rabbit with 11 members is feeling a tad unloved :-(

If anyone wants to join his group then feel free ..he's been to Villa Park and he is a Villa fan :-)

    Harvey

Just viewed this, and what a well travelled rabbit. Some fabulous pictures there Tony, and think I will look at joining the FB group.

  2. I've been out twice this year - but enjoyed neither of them. Having to look down at all the time as to where to place your feet, makes it far harder then just looking up.

With the new running trainers I got for Christmas, I'm longing for a good 10 miles on an ice free road.

  3. Would obviously like to avoid defeat on this one, but sadly I can see our first defeat at The Emirates on Sunday.

Arsenal seem to be playing very well at the moment - I'm not saying we are playing bad, but it was certainly squeeky bum time for the last 10 minutes against Stoke. We certainly couldn't afford Arsenal that many chances without them punishing us.

As daft as it sounds, I would take the loss as long as we bear Liverpool 2 days afterwards - Needless to say I'll prefer two wins, but you have to remember that Santa wears red and white for a reason !!!

    Prediction - 2 - 0 Arsenal win !

  4. Here is the article

Gareth Barry has revealed a number of Manchester City stars clashed with each other in the aftermath of their defeat to Tottenham.

City slumped to their second defeat of the season after a below-par showing in the 3-0 reverse at White Hart Lane.

The defeat saw City slip down to eighth spot in the table to increase the pressure on Mark Hughes' position at Eastlands.

Barry admitted the players were unhappy with the manner of the defeat and that there some strong views exchanged in the dressing room after the game.

"There was a lot of hurt players in there and the lads were really at each other's throats," said Barry.

"It's not just the defeat, it's the way we've lost - we've lost a lot of pride. A few words were said in the dressing room and we want to put things right."

Barry insists there was nothing malicious in the dressing room disagreements and has called on City to bounce back against Sunderland this weekend.

    Response

"It's important how we react to this, the best teams bounce back straight away and we've got to try and do that," added Barry.

"We are determined to put that right. We want three points - nothing else is good enough. One of the reasons we were so disappointed with the defeat against Spurs was because they are one of the teams who are challenging us to be in the top four.

"It was a more disappointed dressing room because of the way we've lost. But there was nothing malicious, we are desperate to put things right."

  5. And the difference between running a race in your charity t-shirt, and running a race in a club vest is unbelievable.

But your club vest is BLUE - Can't you at least ask for a bit of claret in it as well ?

  6. Good work my man.

I have to admit, I've only been photographed once whilst running (last years Birmingham half marathon), and in each of them, I am talking to the lady I was running with.

Sadly, in this years half marathon no photo's can be found of me.

Anyway, back to running - did my normal 3 mile run last night, just over 20 minutes so a decent pace. Felt pretty good to be honest.

Started going for a 10 mile run most Sundays now, exploring area's I haven't been to, is it wrong to sight see while you run?

Found a decent route around Great Barr Park (the old St Margarets hospital) - and found it all very interesting, which is why I raised a thread about it the other week.

  7. The club has changed ''offiical bettting partners'' from Ladbrokes to 188Bet.

The problem i have with this is that if i place a cash bet with 188Bet and manage to get a winner , then the only way i can collect my winnings is to open an online account with them. Then they will pay my winnings into my account

Sorry to answer in place of the General, but this isn't the case in all instances. I won a few quid last month, but was unable to collect my winnings the same day as the match was played. I therefore just brought my payslip with me to the next match, and was giving my winnings in cash.

Granted the winnings were around £20, so unsure if this on-line credit is for bigger payments or not - but you can collect smaller payouts in cash.

  8. Will Luke Young be starting in this one ?

I would prefer him to be. Whilst Carlos has done a decent job as RB, would prefer to have our master of trade back.

Wouldn't like to be drawing or winning by just 1 goal with 90 minutes on the clock, as Chelsea seem to have a habbit of last minute goals this season.

    Think this will be a 2 - 0 defeat I'm afraid.
