my reaction is im pissed off and even more pissed off that i come on here and see a bunch of overreactions from some people who probably watched the game on teletext.
first half we were in control played some nice stuff at times but i think the ref cost us that game, beye clearly got the ball for there penalty and if we go in at half time 0-0 i believe it would of been a different game. 2nd half we started to look jaded and didnt help that we go down to ten men for the 2nd time in 2 games due to a stupid referees decision.
Anyway im not on here to slag off the players or the manager like some peoples opinions that change like the weather. Lets just roll on saturday and hopefully get a win against bolton.

couldnt be arsed to read 20 pages of this but are the people who voted for him to go just preparing for when we next lose a match?
-
he was quality today, who said he cant play in a 4-4-2 lol (i know it was 4-5-1 at times)
as others ive said thought he was the best centre midfielder on the pitch, he and sidwell really complement each other well.
-
yes he can play in a 4-4-2. thought he had a very good game the other night but he seemed to be getting forward more which i'd like to see him do more of and get more goals like he did at celtic.
He can defo play in a 4-4-2 just has to be with right player, it seems to work with sidwell i feel and i remember him and reo-coker playing very well together in 4-4-2 at anfield when we got a 2-2 draw a couple of seasons back. Just dont like to see him playing in a 4-4-2 with delph who will be a cracking player but hes inexperienced at premier league level, we need to ease him in.

well played the lads, they worked there socks off.
dunne and collins were rock solid at the back and gabby just keeps on improving (wheres the gabby haters now?)
i see carew getting stick in this thread, yes his hold up play wasnt the best and did give the ball away a bit looks like he lacks match fitness at the moment but he did put the work in by dropping deep into the midfield to help out
Come out of the ground feeling slightly disappointed that we didnt nick all 3 points.

He said he wanted Champions League, Barry, Barry,
But then he left for Man City, Barry, Barry,
He lied to us, the greedy tw@t, but he's too slow and he's too fat,
Gareth Barry your a Judas word removed,
lala lala lala lala lala lala...
Hahahaha i like it, presume this is to the torres tune?

what a quality game.
Loving been villa on this and loving the 4-5-1 (MON take note lol) gabby must of scored in every game of played with villa.
Why is it as well that when people see im going to be villa in a online match they decide to be man city, someone did this friday night and got a 5-0 hammering but earlier on someone beat me with man city 3-1
is there somewhere we cam email ea and tell them to change the claret socks to light blue ones and get the 3rd kit changed to the right one?

really pleased to have got through. thought we was pretty much in control even though cardiff has there chances.
thought milner was MOTM works so hard dont know where he gets his energy from. Delph was good as was petrov, gardner was poor but dont think he really knew what position he was playing. Cuellar was good and collins looked solid apart from one error where he dwelled on the ball a bit. Carew was better than saturday but still not there for me yet, and as for gabbys goal it was equisisit 4 in 4 games for him now
really hope we take this cup seriously, really want a trip to the new wembley with villa dont want to go to england game or any other game there before villa get there.

Have that you dirty twelve toed fucktards :-)

It's my 21st birthday on Saturday (when we were originally scheduled to play) so this would be an amazing present
Really starting to look forward to the game now.
dont remind me of 21sts birthdays and blues v villa, we lost to them 2-0 at the sty and i was there, ive never been so gutted on birthday like that in all my life.
COME ON VILLA!!!
-
Distin for me just think he stands out above the rest and hes left footed so he'll bring a good balance to our centre half pairing.

Season ticket holder, and try to get to as many away games as i can.

If there was one defining moment that has put a minority of fans against MON its the 'sending the kids to moscow' incident.
I honestly think we would of won that game with the full team,
We played the full team in the first leg at home and lost, stands to reason we would have with the same team away as well, especially in Moscow.
we actually drew 1-1 in the home leg didnt we? Anyway like MON says himself if he had played the first team in the 2nd leg and then we surrendered at 2 goal lead at home to stoke the game after, everyone would of been saying he should of played the kids in the 2nd leg.

How low are we that some people think starting Sidwell is a good idea? He's been shocking for us.
yet we won our most amount of games with him in the side and he looked alright when he came on on saturday. id much rather have a sidwell in the side than a player who has no premiership experience wot so ever, delph needs to be eased in as the season goes on.
As for Oneil staying or going i can see this been the season that he goes and a lot of you will get your wish, he wont be sacked but he will probably resign when he realises what idiotic fans we've got. Then it will be back to the 3 years managerial cycle that you all love, were get new manager in everyone will love him, more money will be spent we will fail to break into the top 4, fail to win anything and the same fans will be calling for the new managers head in 3 years time and some people wonder why football fans get called fickle.
-
great to hear from you general, glad ur on the mend.
Up the villa!!!
-
i cant choose either but if barry wants to go then id rather the person that wants to be here stay.
Ideally though keep both of them and add a quality creative goalscoring midfielder to play in a midfield 3.
-
we need one for petrov,
we could sing his name to the same tune chelsea sing to drogba. Stilyian Petrov la la la larrr
or as ive said before we could sing his name to angels old song " i love you baby" tune.
-
some of our fans will never be happy to be honest.
-
stupid thread..
15th-5th in 3 seasons hopefully and if that isnt progress then i dont know what is.
-
Would I care if I was booed off and I was earning that amount of money? Probably not. In the same way as if I was working in any other job which deals with the general public, I wouldnt care if my customers hated me providing my boss was still cashing my paychecks.
yeh but you dont do your job in front of 40,000 people and you also dont support the company you work for i bet. So these comparisons with peoples day to days jobs are a load of rubbish in my opinion.

Gabby is an Arsenal fan I believe.
your thinking of luke moore there mate.

General,
Could you please pass on my support to Gabby Agbonlahor. At this moment he must be feeling low on confidence, but tell him there are some Villa fans who are 150% behind him! The thing is we have fans who are quick to jump on the back of the players rather than support them. We do have short memories of this guy banging in the winner at St Andrews, also being the top English Goalscorer at this present time, they also forget the amount of assists this guy gets.
same here please pass on my support as well general. some of our fans have very short memories and there was a lot of people by me in the lower holte very unhappy with the ironic cheers and boo's when gabby went off. i cannot believe some of our fans sometimes. How this is going to help a player whos short on confidence i just dont know.
As you said general there will be highs and there will be lows and yesterday was a big low for me, i am actually ashamed to support the same club as some of these fans.

Champions league my lord champions league

regarding the flags gen, i think its a great idea, the 1st time we have been in europe for years and were no in the last 32 so why not do something for it. I am a 24 year old and anything i get from the villa is a souvenir and something i can look back on and hopefully show my kids and grandchildren in the future like my grandad did to me and my mom so i appreciate anything like this. cant believe some people dont like the idea.
