So here's the dealio. One of my best mates is a scum fan (I know Iknow, but he is of the minority in the fact that he isn't a complete penis and i can actually have an intelligent conversation with him about the two teams) and I've watched all but 2 villa blues prem derbies around his house with a load of mates and his family, a great mix of blues and villa fans, (even though some of his family ARE the stereotypical scum fan) anyway, it's a good laugh and a hell of a lot better than getting glassed down the pub during the match.

Point is, the only two I didn't watch at his house (I was at Uni) we won. He rang me today to invite me round for yet another Villa vs Blues game...do I attend?!

no dont go lol. Ive been to every one at st andrews and the one i didnt go to we won, hence the reason why im not goin this time either.

Whenever I read a report from him he seems to be against the villa for some reason!?!

i know yeh thats the impression i get as well.

anyway im quite glad hes gone for them to win because he always seems to get it wrong so hopefully that will be the case on sunday.

now that the mls league is over (maybe a play off game left) are there any plans to get Juan Pablo Angel to villa park as guest to say a proper goodbye to the fans?

Hi General. Just wanna report on abit of nonsense concerning catering in the Holte End. Before the game I bought a Balti Pie & a bottle of Carlsberg. Now this falls under the 'combo 5' deal for £5. However, the girl on the till tried to charge me £5.30. When I bought up the discrepancy she told me that you need to ask for the 'combo meal 5' deal when ordering. Surely this shouldn't be the case??

Just thought I'd bring the issue up.

good point mate, i had the same happen to me i had to say isnt the pie and a bottle of carlsberg a fiver.

Another point as well bout the staff, against leicester i sat in the holte lower L3 normally sit in l6 so i went to get something to eat from the catering point at the l3 end far end infact not the baguette de la monde but the one on the end. Anyway i brought a burger which was £2.50 i think and gave the girl a £10 note, now my maths isnt the greatest but when she gave me £4.70 change i knew something werent right i told her that i thought she had short changed me she just said no £2.50 for burger = £4.70 change i couldnt be arsed to argue to be fair but i just thought the staff would have better math skills to be honest. But after it occured to me that the bloke in front who was in front of me wanted some chips and they had ran out so he werent happy he then said i'll have a pie then when she told him the price he didnt have enough for it so he slammed it down and stormed off, wot must of happened is that she had already but the pie through on the till then charged the burger on top of that which is why i got the £4.70 a change.

The point is that as a season ticket of 14 seasons on the trot it didnt feel too good to be made to look dumb in front of people by a member of the catering team when i kinda knew i was right.

If MON can get Sneijder I think he will move any player in his way. Sneijder is class and if he plays on the left then Barry can go into the middle and Young take care of the right side.

i rate mcshane, wouldnt mind us getting him, he reminds me of a right footed steve staunton.

As for bellemy and barton i dont want them anywhere near a villa shirt. We've got a good team spirit there this season and that would just be spoilt if either one of these came to us.

If Defoe signs for Villa i will eat my pants!

Im starting to think that ellis isnt gonna sell at all this will all drag on till the transfer window has closed and were stuck with the same players as last season.

so basically this is gonna drag on for weeks i bet it wont end till after august so were stuck with the same players that we nearly got relegated with last season.

ive gone for JLo @ LB, GB @ LW, Paddy in centre, if j'lloyd can get back to his england call up form. I think baros will benifit from berger playing in the centre and cutting defences open with his through balls for baros to latch onto.
