Report on the BBC on hwo tHector Sants of the FSA is promising a much tougher regulation so we are in a different era and it will be interesting to see how it develops

The govt that stitched me up in pay
The government didn't stitch you up, though. The people who ran the company for which you work did.
agreed actually for some they saved your jobs
if the govt had not stepped in Lloyds and RBS were gone and where would that have left some even if you were in a bit making money, ot many around to buy you
-
well are we seeing green shoots ?
or the dead cat ?
citigroup (on it's kees) actually posts 2 months of profits and says it's captal base is strong, this has left shares up 5%
-
it is actually called good will and keepig an under pressure workforce happy
BTW seen the list of debts teh government are insuring from Llloyds, one that stands out for me is the whole debt book of HBOS's buy to let book ...
that is ominous for those in private rented a lot could be chucked out
-
aactually snowy I think they are spot on with this as long as the departments that get the bonus made money
-
interesting blog on the BBc regardig the total cost of all this support to the banks.
one of the interesting points is how low our debt was before this compared to some others and how since the mid 70's we have done ok

3. ianrobo1: You ask a very good question but one that we are not prepared to meet right now. It is not because we are trying to hide something but, rather, because we have not come to our own "final" decisions as yet and we have not approached the council with our completed plans as a result. It would not make much sense to put something out that we have not totally bought in on and that we have not gained approval to accomplish. I can assure you that we will alert the fans as soon as the plan is finalized. We will certainly seek fan input on any changes that will require temporary movement of fans. We did learn a good lesson from the Trinity situation. Dialogue with fans on such moves is CRITICAL!!
thanks General because form the bits Mystery Man has said about the Holte I am very intrigued at this and noticed no planning permissions on the Birmingham council website, yet.

to be fair to the Blooz fans for once they know that too which is why there is an amount of unrest there

That article cannot be hers surely, even she cannot knowingly take the piss out of everyone at her own club....
when I first read it I thought it was a pisstake, but it is not ...
does she actually want out and this is a way of pressing it, I know one person who went to the blooz AGM and it was very heated and tense

no, I think you have more council housing then the private landlords that stick around are the better ones.
the scum landlords I mention are those that rent to the those peopel who would normally be housed in council housing, it is those who owuld slink off if the amout of council housing was increased
-
Owning a house (as you do) = bad.
Private rental (as I do) = bad.
So should we all live in council houses? Or would a kibbutz or collective farm be better?
Dogmatic right my arse.
no you should have a fair mixture of the two and have the ability if you want to rent from councils rather than rip off private rented who bugger off as soon as the going gets tough
the amout of private landlords throwing peopel out is causing a tremondous strain
-
why ?
sticking those in need in shitty private rented places when there should be council housing is madness of the dogmatic right

Hi General, I am deeply ashamed of the reaction of a lot of Villa fans at VP today, I was stunned into amazement by some things I heard (booing of gabby) and saw (nazi salutes towards spurs fans)
however I do have faith and hope for the future
