Can't believe Barça blew this.

Barça fans look like they're having nervous breakdowns.

I do feel like we could beat any of these teams. Dortmund to me seems the most difficult for us.

Ironically, any co-efficient hopes against German teams now rely upon that team from North London outwitted by Villa last Sunday.
Mental, the vast tapestry of irony this week.

The brave ref is looking at an 'Anthony Taylor scenario' at the airport tomorrow. 3 red cards & a penalty against Barcelona players & coaches.
If only commentators could get red cards, too.

Could these games be any more entertaining today? Wow.

Brilliant Correa. Thank you!

Xavi now sent off too, carnage
Sorry, can't cope with Ray Hudson. That is aural torture.

Why are the commentators whispering sometimes for Dortmund v Atletico?

Oh, Cor! Rea.

Here I am, somewhere in Pennsylvania, cheering for Madrid's Athleti. Surely this will never happen again.

Last time I saw them was about 35 years ago, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the Middle East or TT the Bears. I can't remember which. Does the heart good to see these men still performing. The thing I remember most about that show was how incredibly tight they were rhythmically. You didn't hear that so often with American indie bands live back then. Indie bands from the UK seemed just super exact. It may be because the bands that did cross the pond for tours needed to reach a certain level of quality before anybody would pay for them to do that?

Shearer and Given spoke almost entirely about us to be fair to MOTD.

Fair play tho, lots of analysis about Villa.
The London-based print media need to catch up.

Just so you all know: Liverpool and Arsenal lost today. Really all that matters. Pep has smiled today -- or was that a grin? Can we please talk about that? Oh, and Manchester United may have finally had their CL hopes extinguished. And Tottenham could still get third, or deserve to. Was there any other news in football today? I don't think so.

Arsenal better performance overall, for me.
The Man City win felt like a one-off, a desperate overrunning of the opposition, an almost animalistic assault by a pagan horde. The Arsenal victory seemed more crafted and intellectually astute and beautifully sinister -- and therefore, importantly, reproducible -- like an attack by Legionnaires.

I think McGinn gives us more physicality in the double pivot. Luiz is still class but not a no. 6
Truth is, if we're in CL next year, our second violins will need to be able to step into first violin chairs routinely. Any quality differences will need to be marginal.

Is it? Why? They’re fully fit with 2 extra days rest and we’ve both got big mid week games. Not trying to be negative but I don’t think we have any advantage over them.
I think we’re hungrier. Unai has something to prove, too. I don’t know. I’m just super thrilled about this game. I have a feeling we’re going to win.

We are pretty much guaranteed at least 5th now. All this irrational bed wetting about being caught by the likes of Man Utd, Newcastle and West Ham is beyond embarrassing.
How can bed wetting be either rational or irrational?

I’m pretty excited about tomorrow. It’s a good time to play the gutters.

Our fans really sound like a bunch of losers on this thread. Should be talking about Spurs and us and how we get top 4. Instead we’re talking about who’s going to catch us.
Hopefully fan mentality can change one day.
No. They’re just expressing anxiety. It’s natural and commonplace, too.
