  1. Really excited about Tim. Hope he is given opportunities to play and isn't just sold off for ffp. His energy and pressing would compliment playing next to Tielemans in our back up midfield

Since someone mentioned Inheanacho from Leicester, can anyone explain why Ndidi is still there? I'd have thought he'd have been snapped up as he and Tielemans worked really well together. Their best two midfielders by far. I'd consider replacing Dendoncker with him and I'm a big fan of our Belgian brick wall. Am I missing something about him?

He has been awful for about a season and a half. Don't know what's happened to him, rumours of a personal situation, but he has been really bad, and no where near the top defensive midfielder that he was.

I would stay well clear of him

  3. I would be quite happy with Iheanacho for about £10m. One of his best traits is his link up play so I could see him putting Bailey/Diaby/McGinn through on goal a lot.

Plus he always scores in the cups so he could be a great alternative for the FA Cup and Europa League

  4. Do you think Watkins will be our main penalty taker again next year?

Tielemans always took some great penalties El-Ghazi style for Leicester but then seems to miss a couple. Diaby has only taken 3 in his career scoring one, which was a long time ago so I doubt it will be him.

I think Doug could be a classy penalty taker as he has a lot of composure, but can't recall him ever taking one.

  5. I would really like this to happen. Is it a risk? Yes it is. However he has a big ceiling and I just get the feeling it would really click for him with us under Emery and he would shine. The Europa Conference league could be a great way to bed him in

  6. If Emery see's him as our starting right back firstly and as midfield backup secondary then thats something I could get excited about. Defensively sound, and used to progressing the play forwards and joining in midfield easily could be a good tactical move

  7. Would Jurrien Timber be out of our range? Seems like his profile could be a great fit for the right back position under Emery, where he is a centre back by trade, but comfortable on the right and also has great passing range and dribbling ability and also knows how to defend

  8. As a goal threat yes Barnes is better than Bailey and Traore, but so many of his performances are very limited. He usually relies on 1-2's to get past players and his defensive input is minimal. I'm sure he would improve under Emery and would improve the squad but I don't think he should be a priority signing in anyway

  9. Whilst I am definitely ambitious and want us to finish as high as possible I really like pretty much all of the players we have and don't want them to be replaced/pushed down the pecking order next year. E.g Pau Torres looks an amazing player but I don't know how I would feel if he replaced Mings or if we brought in a shiny new player to replace Watkins.

Maybe im being stupid or a bit sentimental, but Emery has done a fantastic job improving the players we have and I think they have another level to go further so I hope we only add 2/3 Moreno type players in that are under the radar signings that improve us a bit further each time.

  10. João Felix, Nico Williams and Kang Lee In would be three nice attacking additions if we get into Europe. If they replace Bailey, Traore and Coutinho then the first 11 and squad would be stronger in my opinion, plus we are replacing older players with younger fitter players which is what we need to keep doing

  11. Coutinho out - Lee kang-in In

Bailey out - Nico Williams In

Sanson & Nakamba out - Guendouzi in

Young out - Wan Bissaka In

Olsen out - Anyone else in

I guess it depends on any European competition we might have, but do we need more squad changes than that? Especially as we will have our championship youngsters fighting for squad places

what a pointless post.  just knock the player whilst he's not playing under a new manager before he has a chance, coupled with a bizarre imaginary world where we just put up a sign and hey presto someone buys him for the fee we paid matches his wages and were able to find the perfect replacement.

I don't think it's a pointless post. It's literally all about his fitness which we don't know what the future holds, we only know what his current situation is and it's been poor since he arrived so based on that I said we try and sell him for someone younger and less likely to be injured and waste a squad space. I'm also assuming you watched the Stevenage game where he had a chance and was v.poor

And I said a decent fee, not the fee we bought him for. I would class anything 10m plus as a decent fee which I think there are some clubs out there that would pay that

  13. If we can get someone to pay a decent fee and his wages then I think we should get rid. His fitness is far too temperamental for us to rely on him and him to take up a squad place.

Would rather his spot went to someone younger/faster/stronger etc.

However if he can prove his fitness then definitely happy to have him around the squad and use his experience for the cup competitions and as a sub option

  14. I really think Charles de Ketalaere could be a decent option to replace Bailey's current position. He hasn't settled at AC Milan currently so they might be happy to move him on for the right price. He is tall at 6'4 and deceptively quick and his technical skill and link up play would be a massive improvement on Bailey and would get so many more goals for Watkins and the midfield. He can also cover several positions and is only 22 with a really high ceiling of potential

  15. Very frustrating player. Would suit more a counter attacking team playing either inside left or right forward where he doesn't have to pass and can just run and shoot

Doesn't suit our system and will be let go in the summer I imagine

  16. Anyone seen much of Anel Ahmedhodžić this season at Sheff Utd? Seems one of the best centre backs in the championship and I would be looking at him if Sheff Utd don't end up getting promoted. He would suit either centre back replacing Konsa or right back in Emery's formation.

6'4" and very strong and determined. Very comfortable on the ball and likes to carry it forward. Could be a shrewd summer signing if available

  17. João Pedro is the one to go for if Watford don't come up.

Only 21 and has a very high ceiling. Plays as a support striker so would link with the midfield and compliment Watkins. Also works really hard off the ball and can dribble well

Would be so much better than Bailey in that position
