General I know you've already sort of answered this but the squad numbers is quite an issue. I was on the awesome new official shop this morning and i wanted to order my new shirts (i say shirts as i'm going to order Home, Away and training top) bu the problem is I want to order an Agbonlahor shirt but I need to know his sqaud number.

I realise the numbers thing is all dependant on who MON brings in. Just making you aware that sales will probably shoot up once the squad numbers are on the shop site.

General another quicky question

When is the new website due to be online. I only ask as the new kits are currently beign displyed on the OS shop in a very amateur way. I know it is just to stop people complaining that they cannot find the kits but the picture quality is very poor and does not do the great kits justice. Also could the club shop site please indicate correct player name spellings and squad numbers so I can get a player name on my home and away shirts.

General just a quick question why is our new away kit exactly the same as the Porto away kit 07/08?

It is a very good looking kit but Nike really haven't taken any time to design us anything new. I know you said we got in late with Nike but it seems they could have tried harder.

i think it's already been suggested, I'm forever blowing bubbles or "we are the united claret and blue army!!!"

if we hadn't got rid of so many players the addition of an £8 million would seem like not a terrible window.

maybe on tuesday at the unveilling of the shirt we will see tonnes of new players.....i'm being optimistic its ten to five and its nearly home time!!!

General any chance of a Lee Hendrie vs. Ian Taylor testimonial game? There is tones of love for Ian Taylor and fans feel he should of had a testimonial game. Would really tie into the current idea of PROUD HISTORY.

General sorry to ask such an annoying question so apologies in advance, but could you please confirm the rumour that a press conference is arranged for Friday. As you must have realised the Villa faithful is an impatient beast and people around here are getting a bit worried about our lack of transfer activity. I'm not asking you to talk directly about new players as thats MON's business but a confirmation of the press conference would allay fears massively. If you can't talk about this I totally undersatnd but as my mum says you don't ask you don't get.

I have to tend to agree on the Fowler situation. Players end up on a free for a reason, he is well past his prime, he had little or no pace back in the day but the game is seriously fast now and he is a shdaow of his former self.

I think a new world class right back must be our first signing. It should be our top priority. Once we get him on board he can start training with the solid 3 of Ollie, Mart and Willy.

Salgado would do for me......such crazy optimism!!!
