Tapping into your spiritual consciousness will give you the biggest high you have ever experienced.
For many this is a difficult path of perseverance which is often easier to find with the aid of drugs.
What are you suggesting?
Temple Ball?
BTW my avatar is by DMT fan Alex Grey

Anybody ever tried dimethyltryptamine (DMT)?
Oh yes.
Easily the most mental 1/2 hour of my life.
Mind expanding to the point it could go Pop.
The source went on to bite their own tongue off a couple of months down the line.
Not to be messed with.
That was New Years 93-94, psychedelic trance and all that.
It spelled the end of my drug fuelled hedonism period.
The only place left on that path was madness, and I didn't fancy it.
Coke - Turns bubble heads into babble heads. Expect a long midweek comedown. Never understood the attraction.
Heroin - Will make you sick till you get into it, then you'll be ill all the time. Never ever trust a junkie.
LSD - If you're happy with who you are, don't. Doesn't seem particularly fashionable these days.
Speed - Makes your bits shrink, again not fashionable.
Ketamine - Veterinarian anaesthetic, floors horses and elephants. What do you think it does to bipeds? Can be funny to watch, especially in slippery conditions (after all, they did it to themselves).
Ecstacy - Costs less than a pint now!
MDMA - Gurners unite.
Khat - Popular with manically chewing Somalians.
Kava Kava - They chew it up and spit it out you know.
Crystal Meth - Turns you into a Punkerpan, getting a foothold over here on the gay scene. We really don't need it on the sink estates!
Mushrooms - In my understanding - not illegal if you eat them on the spot.
Salvia - Missed this entirely.
Two newcomers
2c-b, (sort of a slow burning psychedelic I think) and the nootropic Modafinil - Modafinil is rumoured to be used by city highflyers, the military, swotting students... pretty much anyone who needs to stay sharp, and fend off fatigue.
Marijuana - Regular use shreds the memory, can seriously curb ambition and drive etc etc. IMHO Regular (strength) dope is no worse then alcohol, especially if eaten. New strains are ridiculously strong though.
Alcohol - Most violent crime occurs on Friday and Saturday nights.
Lost friends to a few of the above (including a genuine child prodigy), others have wasted real talent.
Avoid them all, you don't need any of them - Especially if there's a history of mental problems.

U2 have been steadily deflating for 20 years, yet are still strangely massive (like Bono's head).
Oasis have long since moved into the comfort zone.
Coldplay are less far into their career, and it's difficult to call. Doing well with 'Viva La Vida', picked up new fans even. IMHO The real test for them will come with their first post Eno material.
-
- All produced by Eno, as opposed to the stuff that you don't like, which weren't. Eno is the genius, U2 are self important.one will realise that they were very different and innoventive. "Where the Streets Have No Name" "With or Without You" and "Pride (In the Name of Love)" . They are timeless and I don't think many would raise an eyebrow if someone said that they were made, for instance, in 2004, instead of the correct years which would be 1987, 1987 and 1984. -
He He He - Sorry I'll clarify.
I was wondering why Maqroll selected these bands - the Allmans seem an odd choice.
I detest the Smiths.
-
Damn, Beaten.
:winkold:
-
The Smiths.
Any particular reason for choosing the above?

Like the body stuff - Can't try the inverted glasses.
I'm told (not by a man in a pub) that putting a sleepers fingers in a cup of water has an adverse effect on bladder control - especially if they've been boozing.
Anyone confirm this?

Asparagus really makes your piss honk.

In a gadda da vida - Iron Butterfly - All 17 minutes
If you like Iron Butterfly maybe try Danava.

I've just finished Joe Haldeman's "Forever War" (excellent)
I loved that book - Is it still in print?
Time dilation - it's effects on a protracted confrontation - and massive social changes between tours. At one point our hero returns to Earth and finds everyone's gay IIRC.
Ever read 'Enders' Game' by Orson Scott Card I think?
-
The Bermudas - 'Donnie'
No Dave, Hickox on Chandos. What else is there? Not much by the looks of it... I'll check the the RED when I get back to work. Perhaps I'll run it by old Moore, he might know.
