Just put Kozak in the field and send benteke to the B-squad. seriously getting pissed off about al this crap.

Why are you getting so worked up over different opinions? We're Villa fans, not just fans of Benteke like yourself. He's not untouchable.

because i'm getting tired of reading that he is lazy. just bench him or get a coach who actually knows something about tactics and doesn't just depends on 1 player.

edit: better idea: just break his contract is he if so **** i don't see the point of keeping him here. if i see arguments as lazy.. some of you have clearly no idea of how hard he has worked to be back on the pitch he is  way earlier on the pitch because he has worked 24/7 with lieven maesschalck. and trust me i would be more frustrated if i was him if you see what squad is behind him.. and while im honest yes he is wasting his time here.

  3. I can't believe people are getting upset about what some kid from Belgium has posted.

What he knows about Villa can be written on the back of a postage stamp. The fact that he doesn't know some of the great names that have played over the years highlights this. Am I the only one who couldn't give a flying one about Belgium and their national team?

I come on here to read about the Villa.& BTW we've had much better players than Benteke over the years so lets keep this in perspective. Benteke has a fair way to travel before he can be mentioned in the same breath as some players mentioned recently. I'm not saying he won't get there but as it stands currently he is not the finished article and I doubt whether he'd start for any top 4 club. Liverpool or Spurs are about as high as he could aim for currently. A step up from Villa admittedly but not enough to claim he's "too good for the team". One could also argue that Delph is too good for the team on that basis, given he's leaving soon. All teams have some players that are better than others-That's football.

I have told before i started to follow aston villa since august 2012.

So in 2 and half years of averaging a goal every other game, scoring more prem goals than anyone in our history and clearly being our best player, there's been 1 clear example of him having a go at a player (bacuna was actually smiling during this) and a couple of moans we've seen lots of players do on many occasions.

I really think some are looking for an issue that's not there. Which seems really strange when its our most important and best player.

The issue is in the present, not the past.  I'd assume Bacuna was smiling because he knew he'd made the right decision - irrespective of Benteke being a bellend.  He displayed similar petulance when Grealish failed to find him against Swansea by the way.

It's an issue because it's current - not in the past.  It looks like he's starting to think he's too good for the club...

To be fair, he is too good for the club..

Benteke will move on shortly as he has always said he will, and you will move on with him.

Out of order to make that comment.

If you want me gone then i will do so.

  5. My apologies Belgium guy, my post wasn't directed at you anyway. I appreciate you are a Benteke fan firstly and I think if he did spend his career with us  he would end up as a legend, but I realise he is destined for greater things.

no apologies needed. I understand the point you guys are making. the only thing i didn't agree was the thing about him not giving his full 100%  i do understand that he sometimes unrightly is mad on his mates but  i'm sure that wen they are in the dressing room ther just laughing about it and do not have a problem.

Absolutely, our club is steeped in history. We may not be in the best place right now but we have had better players than Benteke in our past. I'm not saying he's not good, he is but when compared to Little, Shaw, Gray, Withe, Cowans, Platt, Mgrath and Yorke. He hasn't reached their level yet. So it annoys me too when people say somebody is too good for us.

I think they're trying to say he's better than all our players, some by a mile, and by that reasoning is "too good for us". He would be the same level as players at another club.

thank you thats exactly what i ment. its really difficult for me to explain correctly what i mean in English.

Not really disputing this, but putting in 100% and having a good attitude whilst being too good for the club is fine.  As soon as that attitude starts to falter, it becomes a problem.

Do you really think he doesn't give his full 100%? he's much offside because they have to pass the ball faster. but yea lets critisize our only player that can make a difference between winning and losing.  :thumb:

i hope some ppl wil reconsider their opinion at the moment he will be gone. because i don't see us winning any matches without him. even Falcao would struggle to score goals with this poor supply. and they will be even more frustrated.

  10. I think he is slightly overrated by some of us. No doubting his huge talent but whether he's good enough for Chelsea, Real Madrid or Barcelona is another question. We talk about him scoring more with better players but 6 goals in 20 internationals when he has the likes of Hazard and De Bruyne is not great. Right now he wouldn't be first choice in Chelsea, Man U, Man City or maybe even Arsenal sides.

Eden hazard is shite in the national squad he has 6 goals in 51 caps most of them are penaltys

I didn't like his reaction at the end of the game, when he was clearly frustrated with Bacuna. Frustration is understandable but I found it a bit dickish.

If Bacuna played that ball good we would have won the game. i understand his frustration.

I understand his frustration, but the ball in by Bacuna was very very good.

no the ball wasn't good if it was good Benteke would have just tapped the ball in.
