  1. He frustrated the life out of me but I have to give him credit for the fact that he always keeps his head up and has a great attitude and even if his pass for the 3rd goal was lucky he absolute skinned the Liverpool player in the build up

  2. An absolute hero, he could barely breath after getting elbowed and probably took something at half time for the pain and came out second half and gave everything. Massive respect

Would like to see us go for him when he turns 18.

Was at the game last night and he was quality. Took a few bad tackles as well but didn't stop him performing and taking his chance when it came. Very impressive for a 16 year old.

Bloke slotted the winning penalty in the QFs, as well as all the other ones he's taken before today. Not sure I'd call him a bottler.

Not just basing it on him missing that peno, his all round play has been embarrassing for way too long. Anyway I think he's not up to it others are welcome to disagree

  5. Useless bottler just hope he hasn't scuppered a transfer away, need rid of players with his weak mentality. Thinks he's way better than he actually is

Rewatched the game especially our second half, had a totally different view of things. We were actually OK, and 10 more minutes and we would have scored again. Things started to work, we played at a pace we’re used to, they looked on the ropes.

First half was shambolic, I have never seen our formation so wide open and full of gaps and our mid field totally pressed like that, I can’t recall conceding those types of goal on a break where the rest of the ream was so far away out of position, we were a huge mess. In fairness to Targett, he was left on his own, and Cash was just terrible all game. These two will come good. And in answer to some comments on here: Jacob Ramsey is good enough to start on this showing and pre-season he was the best midfielder on Saturday. Whether we can buy improvement on him is another question.

For me, Nakamba had a very good game but I don’t think he is good enough over a full season, we defo need an upgrade. His replacement has to improve McGinn as well and unleash Buendia. Otherwise I think we need someone other than McGinn (Sanson?) and then McGinn is a squad player.

Ings changes everything as now we play a 4-4-2 it’s going to take some getting used to. This is a big surprise to me and surely a totally different direction to what we intended at the start of the window?

Can I get a link to where you watched it please?

  7. Politics in football is like going into the summer transfer thread and having to read through pages of utter dribble by a certain few people who think their opinion is more important than the actual subject matter.

Personally I'm sick of it all and only watch football to enjoy football...
