Gouffran hasn't always been used as a striker thoughout his career, he has played a lot of games out wide.

Lambert's only problem is the poor quality of the squad — the core of this team is nowhere near good, as we have seen over the last couple of seasons.

Some of players probably do look OK in training but when it comes to it you can't rely on Ireland or Bannon as creative forces. Herd is full of endeavour but is never a top 6 player — which is what we should be looking for. Of the new boys Holman doesn't look up for this league yet and Vlaa looks to me as if he could be one of the worst buys in recent years.

We move the ball too slowly and don't have midfielders who can get beyond the centre backs. Bannon particularly annoys me — his assist stats must be dreadful.

And let's hope Given get's over his wobbles.

I disagree that Baker and Clark are quicker than Dunne. Assuming age hasn't slowed Dunne down (big assumption) I'd say that he's quicker than both of them. But then, how much of this is down to raw pace/acceleration over his ability to read the game better (which can sometimes create an illusion of quickness) is up for debate.

Perhaps a flat race would decide it but I doubt we'll ever get to see one!

If there is serious interest from us and fulham he will be going to Fulham.

18 in 33 for Genk last season is pretty prolific.

Did anyone ever play Euro 96 on the Saturn? It was a port of one of the 3d actua soccer games but was so half arsed and so cashed in for the Euro's that I don't even know what it was. Every player on it was white, they didn't bother making black players, y'know, like their actual skin colour. Completely out of sync commentary, an unplayable camera angle that randomly zoomed in on you at strange times and tiny, tiny goalposts that meant that it was so hard to score, it was more or less impossible to score more than two goals in a game.

Italia '90 on the Master System was absolute heaven compared to this.

I remember USA 94 on the mega CD being dreadful, plus I hated 3 Lions on the playstation, crap game IMO.

I agree with you in this case, all my Wolves supporting mates hated the bloke and would routinely call him useless.

I'd say no to Doyle. The Doyle of 3 years ago would have been a decent foil for Bent, but that was 3 years ago. He has been absolute dog shit for the last two seasons.

If we do sign him his fee shouldn't be any more than £2m.

With Clark being in "indifferent" form and dunne being injured, you can see that given cannot handle too much pressured I think we need two players for defence, centre and left back. Get him signed

He's not good enough on the ball to play there.

Spurs signed Gallas, a pacey centre half to play with Dawson.

Dawson and Vlaar = two statues. We should be looking for a quick centre half, not the likes of Dawson.

Dawson and Vlaar would possibly be the slowest centre half pairing in the league, it would get destroyed against a team with pace up top.

Henderson is an awful player.

Berbatov has a lot more in the tank than those when they signed. I think he'd be an excellent signing.

Overall he was a good player for us. Slow start, first half a season here essentially and write off then he picked it up. Still the amount of times his crosses would hit the first man used to drive me nuts. Plus the bloke is an absolute word removed.

Probably Resident Evil 5. It was completely un-Resident Evil. In fact under any other name it would have been a decent game but as an RE game it **** sucked, thankfully I didn't pay Crapcom for the pleasure of playing it. I thought RE 4 was bad but RE 5 took the biscuit.

Actually, objectively the worst game ever is a FPS called 'Ethnic Cleansing'. Not only is it's premise completely asinine but the game play and design **** sucked harder than Tulisa.

Also there's a game called Super Columbine Massacre RPG, but it's actually pretty well made for what it is.

Doyle's awful. Thankfully I doubt Lambert would even entertain the idea.

Holman did inject some movement and he played a beautiful ball to Weimann who should have scored.
