I don't want him but I don't get the hate for Solanke. I've watched him a bit and he's not just a cart horse. Not our level but would do a job at Everton or West Ham, and his stats would be better.
Maybe I've just seen his better games but for me he's one of the reasons they aren't playing Championship football right now.

Just been on blue moon. first time in a long time only the minority think they will win
It's 43% they win 57% us or draw.
Great, just need Lawro to come out of retirement and predict we win. Would be the final nail in the coffin.

Thought it was a game for Moreno, needed to threaten in the wings more.
Zaniola has a bundle of ability but it's not working for him at all. Looking forward to JJ coming back.
Emi motm and it's not even close.
Bournemouth are a very different side from earlier in the season - a lot of players out but still very lively and competitive.

Solanke is a threat. But we should score more than them. Going 3-1, with Pau getting on the scoresheet again.

Several posts saying awful get him off at HT
Half the forum voted him motm - some people need new specs.
Hard to fault him coming back off a long injury tbh.

High praise indeed from Garth Crooks. Especially for someone whose insight normally amounts to rating players that have scored a goal. I wonder whether Dougie will make his team of the week now.
After Ollie's hattrick at Brighton he put him in the team but said all the goals were lucky and that Ollie should buy a lottery ticket.
rocket polisher.

He's our best player, and that's not to demean anyone else.
If we'd cashed in and bought Onana to replace him we'd be mixing it up with mid-table scummers like the insufferable mufc brigade.

You'd never see Romero make a rash challenge like that. Where was here today?

I know it's been said but the touch count for commentators mentioning Spurs injury list has to be in the thousands. Mings, Moreno, Emi and JJ not mentioned at all.
Emi Martinez was the difference today. Put almost any other keeper in goal for us and we lose that. Superhuman.

justice to be fair - they should have had 1 pen and they got 1 pen

Dion said "it was definitely contact with the upper body so not a pen"
Have I missed a rule change?

If that'd been a challenge on Dion he'd have been fuming.
I'm embarrassed that it wasn't a pen to be honest.

He's:
10% messi/ronaldo/maradona/pele in their prime
80% anonymous
10% qwop
Love him

For all the gs apologists I have one question - if he quits at the end of the season, which prem team's fans will welcome him with open arms as their new manager?
I honestly can't think of a single place where he'd been seen as am upgrade.

I'm Irish so I'm an outsider looking in, but I have an opinion. England do have great players I think, but this guy is not utilising the players he has available to him. Clearly has his favourites who are underperforming each week for their clubs.
I hate to say this but England can win something with these some of the players in the squad with some not getting a look in, Southgate needs to go and his favourites to go with him. You need a good attacking coach, mightn't go down well with the die hards but I think England should abroad for a new head coach.
Yes he got to semi final and a final as some would say, but a better coach would have won those games with those players and not shoe horn players in the first 11.
Is this your formal application for the job?
Its a yes from me.

People keep saying this is unprecedented but Swindon Town won promotion (via the playoffs) to the top tier in 1990. A couple of weeks later they were found guilty of financial irregularities and relegated TWO DIVISIONS.
Was reduced to one division on appeal.
So yeah, ten points is a lot but imagine winning the playoffs, then getting relegated before the season starts. And to top it all off you live in Swindon.

the 7th game this season they have conceded 3 goals or more
I would sack Dalot, Lindelof and Maguire before they flew back to Manchester
Would leave them with a back four of AWB, Verane, Reguilon, and Jonny Evans.
They are thin for quality at the back.
