How can anybody say they want the guy who has just embarrassed the entire game of football in this country and left his reputation (such as it was) in complete tatters as our next manager? As if we aren't already an embarrassing enough club.

Anyway. We are rubbish. Another not-good-enough-result. Dr Tony must be fuming right now.

Because he's a very good manager who has consistently got results with mediocre teams. I don't really care about the stuff he said to the Telegraph guys. I'm sure Pep, Mourinho et al are angels either. Its just he got caught.

Sure, he sounded a bit of a bell end in the videos, but then I'm sure most would.

I didn't see it, only listened to the radio, but I'm not entirely convinced you can put 100% of the blame for this shower of shambles on RDM. Kodija missed a sitter, we had numerous other chances which if WM are to be believed should have ended in a goal after a poor first half. So we should have been out of sight in the 89th minute anyway.

We've indentified proven goalscoring talent at this level, we've spent money on it, they are not producing.

Personally I think we're too top heavy, but regardless of shape what RDM has been putting out has made enough chances to win at least 3 or 4 of these draws. 16 points instead of 10 and people would be happier, 18 points and we'd be sitting fairly pretty.

We've not consistently had our best team out either, I'm not sure who is going to come in and wave a magic wand and make these players convert more of the chances we are creating.

To be fair, whilst we've been unlucky not to score more goals, we've also been lucky not to concede more. The end result has not been good enough and the formation is just plain odd.

Good sides see out a game by passing it about and keeping possession; not by parking the bus. RDM has not assembled a midfield, which is shocking.

He was standing with a friend waiting for a table to become available in Rodizio Rico - a pretty casual place so I thought I could ask for a picture or an autograph. I said hello and told him that I was a huge Villa fan and asked if I could have a photo with him. He sort of rolled his eyes and turned his back on me, spoke to his friend in French and turned back to me sniggering and said "okay". Didn't smile in the photo and when I said thanks and shook his hand he didn't reply.

Could be a language barrier thing but it just didn't go down well.

I met Mustafa Hadji in Miss Moneypenny's circa 2000. He couldn't have been any more friendly or accommodating.

Sasa Curic was a bit moody in Stoodi Bakers in 1997.

A friend of mine met Steven Froggatt in the Dome II of all places 1994. He was also apparently a nice chap.

Ayew sounds like a bit a div. Still, if he bangs them in every week, he could treat me how he likes.

Little Alan Wright to get another half volley from the edge of the box! And Guy Whittingham to come on at half time and score the winner

I can see a clean sheet as well with Delaney keeping Arnautovic in check all game.
