  5. New Birmingham based film Crouching manager, waking LION!
  6. I bought a vampire motorcycle starring Neil Morrissey and Michael Elphick!!
  7. **** hell, I agree with CI twice in one day! Birmingham has always struggled with an identity compared to Manchester and Liverpool. The nightlife, bands and football teams all go to shaping an image of a city. Birmingham and the Midlands in general, has always had a problem with self promotion, and this rubs off on the club too. Led Zepplin are always touted as a London band, despite Robert Plant being from the Midlands and John Bonham being a proper Brummie. No **** outside Brum new OCS were from here - assuming another Manchester band - despite their album being called The Moseley Shoals. Can't escape bloody celeb West Ham or Man U fans, but ask anyone about a famous Villa fan and they'll be scratching their heads. Birmingham used to have some awesome clubs, with people travelling into the city for God's Kitchen, Babooshka, Moneypennies in their prime... Now we have Chris Herd's fav, Gatecrasher - the embers from Sheffield's finest. Even that place had the Full Monty. Newcastle with Goal and Billy Elliot. Can you imagine a Birmingham based film? Anyway, I believe Brum is seen as boring and so are Villa, to the rest ofnthe country. There's a point in there somewhere..... Famous Villa fans - Our current prime minister rings a bell. Alongside Tom Hanks (jokingly nonetheless). Prince William etc... :3 We have our fair share Yes big Dave Cameron was raised on the Villa, his Uncle led us through our glory days 30 years ago!!

  9. James Nursery in past few days has been consistent....Ole is a "Good Candidate" but we have other "Great options".....these words have come from high in the food chain well before yesterday. Keep the faith
  10. I see now Gary McAllisters odds are shortening....The bookmakers have little faith in Mr Lerner to appoint a decent manager too
  11. Rumour has it that OSG is going to walk out of Molde and join Villa next week....he placed bet at William Hills in New Street on friday....still 5/1 there. OSG is ITK.....
  12. I suspect the situation is delicate (more so than most years) with Liverpool,Villa,WBA and possibly Chelsea looking for a manager, everyone holding their cards close to their chest it seems. :notworthy:
  13. The right credentials...young, ginger.....has to be Neil Lennon!
  14. Won't it be on Tuesday when Mr. Lerner returns. 8)
  15. Domingos José Paciência Oliveira or Gustavo Poyet
  16. I stated late last night Mr Lerner would have problems not appointing OGS as there has been overwhelming support from the fans. OGS allegedly saying no will go someway into alleviating this pressure. As i see it all roads lead southwards to where another Scandinavian group had great success in 1974...The seagull will follow the trawler........."
  17. As Eric Cantona once said "...the "Lerner-birds" follow the trawler it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea". I am not a gay. You are (not you PieFacE) :!: :!: Shhhh!!
  18. Our old sponsors are taking a bit of a hit on another candidate......!
  19. Surely in his heat F will be by the beach, in Mykinos......Will he be able to find similar in England?
  20. As Eric Cantona once said "...the "Lerner-birds" follow the trawler it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea". I am not a gay. You are (not you PieFacE)
  21. A lot can and will probably change over the coming week. OGS is young, exciting and his arrival would be joyfully received by the majority of supporters. Personally i do not believe that he is the favoured candidate right now. If so Mr Lerner will then have the problem that the internet frenzy / over hyping has rallied the supporters into unity and a tidal wave of messages have been sent to the club. Will these supporters accept any other manager whole heartedly or will they feel they have been let down by the board once more and a missed opportunity in OSG. A few poor results and the OUT brigade will start saying "We told you so". Mr Lerner knows who he wants as manger, will he appoint? After the last game of the season the twitter feed on the home page was switched on, what was viewed was probably the final nail in the coffin for McLeish!
