I was there tonight, one of the goals was a penalty that the keeper nearly saved and the other was similar to the goal he scored yesterday against Swindon basically tackled defender in own box and lobbed keeper.

Went on a few runs and can get round players. He should get a chance this season probably cup games at first. As for others I thought that legget? Played well and whoever the number 30 was. Out of the youth team bunch, a few squad players did well too.

He wouldn't have won us the game, but at 1-0 or 2-0 we needed to do something different, and like for like subsitutions did **** all.

 

I would have liked to see something different tried, and Gil is one of those options.

Yup would of been a much better sub than bring a defender on! Dare I say it, I thought Richardson was actually doing well for once!

Should of taken off nzogbia or grealish as neither were impacting the game.

I thought he was poor today but that could've been due to TS's tactics.

If it was his last game it was a damp squib to go out on.

I just hope if we sell him we get the right amount and it's used on top of the transfer budget to replenish a squad that clearly isn't good enough to challenge for anything other than relegation.

I'd say it was Mertesacker that controlled benteke today, was clearly told to man mark which he did excellently the whole game and even showed Benteke how it's done down the other end when the roles were reversed!

Unlikely but hoping his not having the best of games today has put a few people off signing so we can keep him for another season

A few ideas....

-giant goals that are swappable with standard ones at half time that are so big that even tonev could score in them.

- drainage on each row of the stadium to recycle all the tears from depressed fans and spit from angry ones.

- someone to hide in the away dressing room and steal the players boots just before kick off

- ejector seats to eject myself from the stadium quickly when You just can't take anymore.

On a serious note, they could do with some sort of Perspex screen or something on the side of the holte end because if you on the end which I sometimes am you get hit by cold breezes and rain.

Yep, from memory he's made a fair few sub appearences off the bench this season, the infamous Southampton sub game and early on he came on v Stoke, Newcastle and Hull where he missed a sitter in the last minute.

He did indeed start the league cup game against Orient.... he was totally useless and missed a 1 on 1.

Wouldn't say it's a cheeky bid as they have said they want to loan him out..... Villa would be ideal I think as he would get plenty of playing time which is what Chelsea are after.

I'm still bitter about the Falklands war and that word-removed-ish goal in the 1986 World Cup so I have no love for anything Argentinian (I even boycott their corned beef). That said, I would pay good money to see this guy play football - even if I had to actually go to Leicester to see it.

Massively disappointing, tactics were poor, why keep trying to put crosses in against a big league 1 physical team? Someone just needed to go on a run in the final third and could of scored plenty, even Hutton kept skimming past their players time and time again.

Defending was pretty bad, they had a fair few good chances where a half decent striker would of scored.

Bent was just terrible all round.

People need to get their heads out of grealish ass lol. Yes he did a few good runs and little turns but he lost the ball so many times and is so so weak.

His marking/defending was awful and did about 10 dives today was doing my head in!

It's being reported as 10 millioin. I always thought he was overrated even when fit. They've already lost Colback, Gardner and Ki from last season's midfield.

There was a Cheltenham Town player a couple of seasons ago that had one of his balls ripped open by a football stud... thats gotta be one of the worst I've known about! Making me shudder thinking about it haha.

Obviously he knew he wouldn't be starting in the prem instead of Guzan. It's good for him to get some game time and develop.

Possibly, although they may give Siegriest a chance if he's not sent out on loan. That could be unlikely though as he's only played in the Conference so far...
