richards simple problem is that he thinks hes better than what he is, thats his downfall

its obvious to the whole world that the first team representing this club is shit, so bad infact that its not even mathematically possible for the club to get promoted first time round, too many players need purchasing and too many of the first teamers need to leave, who, are too for anybody to want and are on far too much money that no other club would match.

i predict the third attempt :-)

funny how huddlestone is being thrown around here, i remember when we were linked to him, i said id like to see him here, and i got slated by a few on here for it.

had we utilised him more this season and the club not been so tight, we probably would of not only benefited more (maybe more goals from assists?) but we would be in better stead to keep him next season which we so desperately need, hes the type of player we need to rebuild the team around.

strikers just arent prolific anymore, anybody who we sign will be average

no matter how shit the team is, and how villa park looks odd  with no matching stands, its still the famous villa park and it should remain so

as for the holte, the name of that shouldnt be changed either, nor should the trinity

id be happy to see a name change to the block off flats (north stand) and witton lane stand (did someone say doug ellis?)

clark, baker and toner are all left centre sided centre backs, we need a right footed cb.

im sure this club has a problem with left backs, weve never really found the 'one', too much chopping and changing, to add that the club has let (letting) go its third youth left back in a season

i wont miss having to wait till the end of match of the day to watch the villa highlights (although theres not been many this season)

villa do this stupid thing were, if a youth player is doing well, or has done well on loan, and another club is interested, then the club lets them go for peanuts, instead what the club should be doing is squeezing every last pound out of the buying club.

as for siegrist, think he will be fine in the championship, id like to see him back here, its clear guzan is shot and bunn is crap.

same here, when i was a child we lived in one of the caravan parks for 6 months before moving back to bham, i lived there again as a teenager, weymouth is like my second home and ive seen what its like in close season, which is why for me i cant see someone like gabby going there on holiday, the money he has, there is no way hed be staying in one of those 40 yr old caravans, lol, but to be fair, he does like the woman, which are easy pickings down there once theyve had a scrumpy jack!

hes still only young, theres a chance of slight improvement, id like to see him stay but i cant see it happening.
