  1. Personally i think it would be a good move for him. Hes not cut out to do the business week in week out in the English PL.

If we get anything over 5m for him it would be good business

€5m prob would be good value for him given his wage bill etc but to be honest if you could be bothered going back thru the old match threads hes got voted motm in almost all the games hes started since he became a regular so what does that say about the rest of the squad...and his ability to do it on a regular basis

when hes played week in week out hes been consistantly one of the best players (of a bad bunch granted).

  2. why would he say he wants back in Irish team if he was moving US it doesnt make any sense

    1) too much travel involved for a "pay check" player for next to no money

    2) Way less chance of starting for Ireland if playing in lower league....

He certainly wasnt only out there for his "pay check" when most had given up last week and he made that tackle on Ox at two nil thats one thing for sure.

  3. looking forward to tomorrow, expect to see more than a handful (6 0r 7) of youngsters tomorrow due to growing injury concerns, wouldnt be surprised to see albrighton get bombed also...horrible last week needs time out

Youngsters is what a lot of the board have been asking for anyway.... im not sure on a couple of them but will be good to see them get there chance.... either way heres a couple of the excuses i expect if it goes bad...

    - shouldnt of played them all together (no choice)

    - played them out of position (alot of the players people are asking for play similar roles hard to fit them all in Herd,Bannan, Gardener etc

    - chelsea are too strong for them (been shocking up til few games ago)

    3-0 chelsea

  4. Unbelievable the lengths some ppl will go to defend local lads....

Good players play better under pressure, it shouldn't faze him that much and regarding tactics,

These shouldn't influence his ability to control or cross the ball I'm sorry, most worrying thing is his footballing game hasn't developed any bit

  5. Ireland is there to be a creative spark but doesn't really do that enough, and didn't again today. He was probably one of the better players out there and the tackle at the end was terrific, but not MOTM.

Albrighton was our biggest threat and thus my MOTM, though his final ball let him down badly, he was the problem to their defence.

Oh wow watched a different game to me....

How can he be creative with the options around him? Create for who exactly, heskey wasn't even in game, gabby no interest and albrighton was horrendous

  6. Albrighton possibly the worst player in the league?

He'd be one of the worst players in the Championship based on this performance. I don't get how a player that trains with the first team at one of the greatest training facilities in Europe hasn't improved at all.. He's shit and the way he's looking he'll be so hard to sell as no one will want him, he's the Heskey of wingers.

It's McLeish's tactics! Everytime Albrighton gets the ball he is in a much deeper position because McLeish wants his wings to play more defense than offense. Then even if Marc gets the ball in an advanced spot, he has no options whatsoever. Petrov and Herd are playing as centerbacks and Ireland looks like he doesn't give a ****. Marc's only option is to either take on 2-3 players or send in a silly cross to the pile of shit in the box.

Wow really can't believe someone tried to defend marcs performance. Tactics have nothing to do with him losing the ball every time he gets it I'm sorry
