  1. It is squeeky botty time for Jesus, he could be out by easter. The pap he's served up is not even fish and loaves. It's soggy paella with an african topping and a free drink!

I remember the good old days when we brought in Ashley Young and John Carew....in a Jan window!   (and Carew was a swap deal....too hard to organise according to some)

  2. Smith said he wanted a striker and a winger ....before the injuries!

    Reina cover for heaton

    Drinky for McGinn

    Smatta for Wes

Therefore we still need a winger and a striker.  and you can't include boy wonder barry. Unless he's going the throw him in.

Trez might be flavour of the week but he's still ragged 99% of the time. and El Gazi no one talks about how pathetic he was on tuesday, I can't remember the last time he played well.

  3. as soon as we're mathmatically safe I'd chuck the kid in let him have a whack.

it's about time the brummies started making a big impact. alan smith is probably the biggest football star from the city which is a disgrace.

  4. house is just a stopper. Id rather he didn't try and play out. I'm happy for him to just launch it. konsa can play a little bit but still appears nervous.

re the article...He should really keep this under the radar. the absolute tool

as an advocate of the dark arts I noticed we've got better at fouling.....the brighton game when hourihane came on and did a rugby tackle was magnificent sparked a mass brawl, and wild cheers from me...If the team had had this discussion in the summer we would have taken 3 points from tottenham arsenal etc etc. Luiz is the one who it needs to be drummed into.

It's going to be a great game at wembley if both teams are fouling each other. be like when keegan and bremner had a punch up in some final in the 70s

  5. no more brentford or belgium junk

if we must buy from the champ get the main man bowen. the more Villa fans in the team the better.  why do you think we sell out every week and O'Neill didn't it's cos the brummys are running the show on and off the pitch.

I'd still bring in both BEnteke and Sturridge. forget about old woy's mutterings  talk direct to floppy hair parish he'll be in the salon right about now.

Smith must deliver the Premier League/FA Cup double for all things to be rosy in the screwdriver household?

If he does well and the board are as rich as they say, they should give him an open cheque book to sign some true quality to take the heat off Grealish and Mings, then we can have a dip. 200m should do.

at the same time as keeping the season ticket prices frozen😎

I think Dean Smith is doing a great job, regardless of whether we stay up or go down this season.

    He's doing ok I guess 🤣

I demanded top 10 and silverwear this seaon.  Smith is doing adequate so far.

fair **** there has been improvement..... start of seaon subs cost us.... last few games subs have made big impacts. DHLelmo last night...delivered.

  8. who better to come in and mentor the new boy wonder Louie Barry?   excatly what wesley needed, a seen it all, done it all got the trophies and the rolls royces.

can't wait to see him do that funky dance celebration in front of the holte!

  9. It was pretty much all villa without really testing foster 1st half. Watfords goal came against the run of play.

one of my favourite players that i watch on match of the day gerrard delafeo did absolutley jack all. I was suprised when trez got subbed I thought el gazi should of gone.

I thought Drinkwater had another decent shift.

Luiz has made an great impact as sub in the last two games. always good to see players celebrating by jumping in to the fans.

  10. It's going to be guerilla warfare out there tonight.  Starting that young kid would be suicide he will so get munched! however bringing him on for the last 30mins to drag their centre halves around the way he did against Brighton is the way forward.

Drinkwater must start. and have instructions to put an early reducer on Delafeou, the way he sorted out maupay. Mings will have to do a job on the super annoying Deeney who we always seem to have problems with.

Win these little individual battles and Jack will do the rest.

For me Smith has put fans into 2 camps 1 I call the desiples won't have a bad word said. The others support him but will question him and call it out when he isn't doing well.

I'm firmly in camp C and always have been.

  12. Engels has had shakey games but I don't think he's played in the back five yet.

he was last seen strolling back against leicestor.

I'd throw him in over Hause regardless of what terry thinks. Smith needs to show he's in charge.

  13. It seems obvious to me the board have decided we have enough already and have just instructed jesus to leak these bullshit names to twitter to keep the fans in a state of high arousal?

They can keep playing the "work permit issues" cd over and over again until 1st of Feb. Then in true eddie the eagle style claim "we tried our hardest but failed. red tape issues, blame brexit. you working class scum did vote for it. Sorry guys, keep selling out the stadium though!"

OR Maybe the coffers are empty.  we spent the TV money in aug

Or maybe they don't trust Jesus and Smith anymore? Jesus because he managed to find the only two brazillians who are shit at football. and smith because his eye for talent begins and ends at griffin park.

  14. was at the game. had a crap veiw but I didn't notice maupay do anything after he was clattered by "the drink" ... The dreadlocked left wing back got man of the match in the stadium.

I wouldn't trust the bbc to tell the truth about anything let alone football.  Brighton got all  of their chances through Konsa and Hause thinking they were frannz beckenbauer rather than exceptional play by maupay. He was distinctly average.
