1 up front gives us more threat than 2 up front, because 2 up front weakens the midfield. we need 2 wingers out there, and if you play ireland more advanced, he can link up as a front man too

theres no point playing with 2 strikers though, because it usually ends up as 2 players who arent involved in the game for the majority of the match

A) This is NOTHING to do with 'McLeish out stuff' as I think he needs more time so don't support that either.

I HAVE been supportive. As soon as they scored I stated we can still win and reminded people of Norwich at home earlier this season.

However, as the half wore on we got worse and yes I think overall it was an 'utter shit' half. I do support my team but not blindly. Jus giving my honest opinion as well as being constructive (in other posts).

Let me try, Liverpool last season were there for the taking, their form in the run up to that game was abysmal, neither Man Utd nor Spurs could remotely fit into that category. Thats why I think both those games from last season were worse than anything we've had to suffer this season.

I think Man Ushited were there for the taking this season. They had scored a lot less goals at the point of the season than they usually do. Plus it was at Villa Park.

It's amazing how all of a sudden AMC is a decent manager after one result. Granted it was a fantastic result but it still doesn't dramatically change anything. He has been a poor manager this season but yesterday proved he MAY have a chance of improving. Personally I doubt it. He beat Arsenal in a cup final last season and then got relegated.

There is a hell of a lot more work that needs to be done but today was nothing less than an outstanding result. I was convinced AMC would repeat his same old mistake of not trying to win games in the last 20 minutes that were there for the taking, I was ranting like a bastard in the match thread. However for the first time he did what everyone has been wanting him to do all season and actually went for it. He must get credit for that.

If he continues with this attitude then I have no problem with him. Other pluses were him keeping Hutton out the team. I worry that with another game in a couple of days time we won't be able to keep the same team? Benty will come in hopefully but let's pray AMC keeps in the current heroes; Cuellar, Ireland, Clark.
