They may actually cut inside, instead of going wide and crossing to the goalie
Exactly and with grealish McGin and Abraham there itl be too much. Just depends if potatoe head takes the initiative

you missed my point.
Why sign so many bloody wingers to put them on the bench when he could have sorted the defence out.
Yeah I think we all know the defence is short. I think itl be addressed in Jan.
For me here elmos ability to not be able to beat his man means we are just swinging crosses in

Just now, Thug said:
we got 3 loan signings on the bench and Taylor in the team.
What the hell was the point??
Disagree with this Taylor is the only true LB. He's looked ok tonight. I think this team needs time to gel now. Would like to see more attack minded wingers. I'd of started al ghazi ahead of Elmo myself.
I can understand the holding midfielder but at home I'd expect to see Hourihane Tuesday as we don't need to be playing a holding midfielder against weaker opposition at home
-
I do have to agree, the wingers are the weak link. With 1 upfront u need more attack minded guys our wide.
John McGin has been good

I'm downloading Beta as we speak. Has anyone managed to find the Beta on switch?

Really??
I don't understand this fascination.
Have him back playing yes, manager errm no.
Mellberg for manager before JT I am afraid.
He is a player who has played at the highest level and worked with the best managers in the game, lampard, Gerrard are all the same and they're getting a crack at it... don't get me wrong there is no guarantee he would be a success and tbh the mind numbing judgement of most villa fans wouldn't have the patience for it but I wouldn't rule it out....
But yeah Mellberg would be a better option as he's already a step ahead of Terry..

Shame really. I'd be more excited at the prospect of him being here and ready to stand in when Bruce gets shown the door. Would love to see him manage us...

Things that annoy me most...
Can't remember the last time we played 2 upfront..
Youth players... this whole favourite players does my **** head in..
As has been mentioned above,we have no or very little identity..

Should be called up if we're not signing a CB. I hate this club for never playing any youth it's a joke

I really expected this 2 week break to be the time the missing CB was addressed. Settling in time and all..
It's all very strange...
-
Oscar Garcia anyone?

We don't need any of these cretins that play the same old shit football... it's got no future in it..
We need a wolves/Fulham style manager who can come in and play some football. We've got so much firepower at this club now we could go up simply be smashing teams into the ground and winning 4-3 every game.. attack is the best form of defence after all..

Elphick was let go after out for most of season with injury and was junk every time he played for us bar a couple of games.
I don't agree, scored in the opening game as was dropped out of the blue for Jedinak?? What's that gonna do for your confidence..
I think the big issue with Elphick was Chester was having to move to accommodate him...

Dean Smith might if the money was right and wouldn’t blame him.The problem for you is you would be taking a big risk of taking him out of a very well supported and structured set up at Brentford. He is head coach assisted by many and if he left one of those would step up and we would carry on without any disruption as we did when Warburton and Rosler left and were then sacked by both all the clubs they have joined since. It is the same with players who leave us remember that lot down the road from you took our best 3 players according to them a year ago and were going to storm the league that went well then.
Could we not interest some of the support staff aswell, I know that would be down to them individually if they wanted to follow him out the door. I think your right on his own it would be a massive risk...
Mind you if you've seen the pandemonium at avfc right now the risk would be worth taking..
Wouldn't surprise me if it was Henry tbh either so your man may be safe..

Rogers will not leave Celtic for us..
Dean Smith Would I think..
Thierry Henry still out the question...
