They lost 4-0 to Newcastle weeks ago, they're nothing to do with it. They need at least a point from City to have any chance of finishing above us
I reckon they'll struggle with Burnley to be fair.

Brave Spurs, I bet they’re saying on sky scum
When its all over they’ll be praising them more us for getting 5th without Kane. What a job big Ange has done.

3 losses in a row Tottenham. They've as good as give it to us.

Haaland could easily score 5 against them
They ain't beating City.

Ref giving Klopp a hand here. 10 fouls each, only Tottenham 4 yellows.

Tottenham all over them now. This is why I think we still have a bit more to give.

Goal difference is currently 10 so if Spurs get a draw with City they'd need to turn those ten around, we're six ahead on goal scored too.
So if they get a point from City in a 1-1 and win the other two games 3-0 they'll be ahead on goals scored and three behind on goal difference - which means we could lose the last two 1-0 and still be ahead.
Another couple of Liverpool goals could make all that seem a lot simpler.
They ain't beating or drawing City on this form. It's as good as done I'd say.

At least spurs are losing too. Just one win from our remaining games please. Can see spurs possibly getting 2 wins but looking at both teams current form who knows anymore!
They ain't beating City may even struggle with Burnley.
I'd crack open the beers already.

I think it's done now, Tottenham ain't touching city in this form.
Crack open the beers

Villa had not lost at Brighton for 44 years.
I would have put money on a Villa win. Said in the week, we just seem to have there number, they find it hard to win past our system.
Unfortunately the system didn't work today.

True, but can't not think us and more importantly the players could have relaxed had we took the 3 points.

Makes me think if Ange really wants it. I mean he's gotta push on next season, CL football is just gonna get in the way, an to be fair he's said a few times 5th will be a great season.

this game should be over... typical liverpool cant finish all these chances
Tottenham look as knackered as us though to be fair.

Players knackered?
You wait till European football and CL next season. It'll be a f****ing joke. Half the season it'll be over.

Nice to hear di Zerbi talk about us not being at our best with injuries. More than Sky have ever said.

Comon Liverpool, you beautiful man Salah.
Errrgghhh

So I guess if Tottenham lose today, I doubt they will beat Man City, so we ain't gotta get another point anyway.

Have you literally not seen us at all under Unai?
Today 4th would have been as good as done. I just think he may have stopped to celebrate a little.
He was pissed today no doubt, is really what I was getting at.

What?
Straight down the tunnel like every single other match. There's work to do.
I doubt he would have been straight down the tunnel had we got 3 points.

I'll say it again, I really don't think Ange is that bothered with 4th. Not as much as Emery anyway.
