  1. Well despite getting laid out in the early hours of Tuesday morning by a bouncer, sadly Hutton was not sporting black eye today. He should've gone home with his wife and child instead of playing the big "I am" and flirting with impressionable young girls

Hutton adds no value to Aston Villa whatsoever. He's a thug off the pitch and a **** nancy boy on it. On your bike you useless waste of space

We had such a good defence. Laursen, Mellberg and Bouma in the same unit. I'd kill a small chimpanzee orphan for players of that quality at the moment.

I'd welcome 4 small chimpanzee orphans with open arms, I'm convinced they'd defend better than some of the current clowns we have at the back ;0)

  3. the brawl wasn't outside, it was upstairs in the VIP area ;0)

Check out the new footage in the mail today and you will see that it all kicked off in the VIP area

Yeah it really kicked off, so much so that you can hardly see anything, certainly not a 20 man brawl and even the reporter narrating calls it a scuffle.

No-one can comment using that poor footage, but what it does prove is that there was something more which sparked it all off...

Well then I guess seeing is believing, and from what I saw I want Collins and Hutton out now...end of.

  4. Has anyone actually studied Hutton's play?

I'm a STH in the Doug Ellis lower and have the displeasure of seeing him skipping up and down the right wing every home match. I mean he's a defender, right? Which is very odd considering he rarely makes a tackle, and when he does it usually results in him receiving a yellow or red card. I cringe when an attacker is in our box with the ball at his feet and that clown is anywhere near the action. He usually puts his hands behind his back and does that embarrassing impression of a ballet dancer pointing his toes, or he dives in and cuts the guy in half.

On a more positive note, Hutton's positional play is abysmal and his distribution is absolutely dreadful. He reminds me of a young kid in a school football team, the one who thinks he's a winger but plays at the back because he can't stay in position, can't dribble, and has no end product when it comes to getting the ball into the box.

I'm alarmed at just how shiny the guys head is when the sun is out or the lights are on Villa Park, I reckon he polishes it before he leaves on a match day

I'll finish by saying that if Alan Hutton is the benchmark for a regular in the Aston Villa 1st team, then there really is no hope at all...Get shot of him sharpish!

  5. Think Hutton could be one of our more consistent defenders next season. Like as has been mentioned, he seems to have benefitted greatly from back to back appearances and probably has more good games now than bad. I do like Lichaj, but he might have the occasional blinder and then get found out by his obvious lack of experience.

Yeah consistently out of the team please. Eric Lichaj is a defender and does his job. Hutton's a defender, but it always tippy toeing forward leaving us totally exposed at the back. Thats what I call a liability.

  6. So Randy, where do we go from here hey? Coz from where I'm standing the only way is down. What's the **** plan dude?

You can see from reading this thread that the natives are getting very restless and the silence coming from the club is doing nothing to quash that. Grow some balls man and come out and talk to the fans, we deserve much, much better.

  7. has barely made a blunder all season

    Now that is simply laughable.

Are you having a laugh? Open your eyes, he's barely made a tackle all season. Well, other than the one he got sent off for and two others where he should've been red carded.

  8. Its alleged that 8 Premier league clubs are currently under investigation by HMRC for dodgy tax deals.

I can't believe for a minute that Randy would tarnish the proud name of Aston Villa Football Club by such a shoddy act...

It does make me wonder who the 8 clubs are supposed to be though, any ideas anyone?

  9. Its Lerner for me.

Doug was old school, he had his heart in the right place as far as Villa was concerned but 25 years under one man was far too long. Times moved on and we needed the change that Randy Lerner has brought to drag our club kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

Not entirely convinced on where we are headed right now either, short or long term but I'm along for the ride anyway

  10. I know it won't win me any better fan pissing contests, but I have a six hour journey to watch the Villa. And this season is the first in many years where I just can't bring myself to go and watch. It's just too depressing.
Six hours round trip or six hours there and six hours back?

    You need a car
