Ive been on the fence about this signing but ive concluded that he would be a good signing. I was worried because of his attitude ad how he was regarded as 'Wigan's saviour', was wondering if his ego could take that hit if he were to join where he wouldn't be he main man. However stats don't lie and his are amazing considering he has played for wigan. Just hope he would keep up these performances for Villa if he comes

The last fifa game i bought was 08. However fifa 11 looked and sounded like it was a real improvment so i told myself to wait and buy fifa 12. Mainly because i want to have a go at the new online system they have in place. It looks really good so im quite hopeful about this one.

Also it would be interesting to group them into their playing positions so we can see how all strikers, midfielders, defenders and even goalkeepers (schmeichel) compare against each other.

If i was Randy whilst obviously taking past experience and success into consideration i would be focusing on how the new manager would want to move villa forward.

During the interviews instead of people like rafa coming in and saying i've won this, this and this i'd want a candidate to be saying 'this is my vision' etc

Therefore i'd lke to see someone like Hughes, Martinez or coyle come in. A manager looking to define himself rather than a manager trying to repeat past glorys.

With Fulham getting Jol do you reckon they may let Hughes open discussions with other clubs now instead of having to wait till July?

If hughes was going to be villa manager he would be here by now,he can be ruled out.

No he wouldn't, he's still contracted to Fulham until June 30th and can't speak to anyone without their permission until then.

We could still talk to his agent on the sly etc. I think if no manager is in place by the start of next week then we have lined up Hughes as our manager but just can't confirm it.

Ancelotti would be a good choice but his partnership with Wilkins was very effective. If we can't get Wilkins in as well i'd like to see Kmac step up to assistant instead.

I really like Hughes. Think he is a really solid manager with excellent PL and international experince. he has a good record in the transfer market and is a great motivator who oozes passion. Could potenitally build a 'dynasty' at villa which we would remember for some time hopefully.

Hughes for me. Solid job wherever he's gone and some exceptional speelsd with Blackburn and Wales. He has a good record in the transfer market, has CL, International and PL experience and wouldn't cost us any compensation. Would motivatie the team and take no crap from anyone....plus potenial Zamora/Bent partnership. Yes please.
