What does Graham Taylor know about the situation? Sure he's a former manager who has no contact with the club. I think that people who have no in-depth contact with the club should refrain from making such comments about possible TO participants.

No-one apart from Mr Lerner and possibly Doug Ellis and Rothschilds know the motives of Randy Lerner. Mr Lerner may well have an impressive future plan laid out for the club. Taylor simply doesn't know the man, or the intricate details of the bid.

The best thing to do would be to stay away from the media and stop reading newspapers. Then... text one of your good friends and get him to text you when a manager is in place, then when the takeover is complete. Afterward, you may resume paying attention to the media, because it will be about buying players. Buying players is something we aren't used to hearing about, so then you'll be happy.

I think he has to make a statement to the stock exchange that the offer has been accepted, and make recommendations to other shareholders. Because Rothschilds are carefully monitoring all negotiations, I'd say it is in their interests to finalise the deal promptly.

Don't expect a statement today, it's VERY unlikely.

If Lerner is back, it shows a real willingness to take the club over. Imagine you were his shoes. I have respect for people's views, and I think they should be allowed to march in their own areas. People from our (nationalist) areas have no problems when it comes to the twelfth of July and so forth, but I think when it comes to marching into areas where people don't want to see the marches, then the marches should be re-routed to a safer area for all involved.

I do not condone the violence in any way, nationalist or protestant . An 11 month old kid might have brain damage thanks to a group of people throwing bricks at cars, I think that alone is too much to pay.
