  1. You can do it on the Chrome version, apparently the mobile (and now chrome) versions can merge columns as its a recent feature, presume its on its way to the Desktop version.

  2. So you can have a list made up of people you are not following in your main list? i.e. exclusive TO that list? That is handy if it works like that.

    eh? lol.

I just clicked on your twitter list in TweetDeck For Chrome to see who was in it and it said 'add column'. I did and anytime anybody on the list tweets it comes up in that column. Its good mostly because it means that if im bored by countless other villa fans on the #avfc column just retweeting what one guy has says, I can just go through the VT one instead and only have to put up with Cracker retweeting what one guy has said. :P

  3. According to Charisma Agbonlahor we are having a new manager next season. Says he is looking forward to a pre-season for once.

Maybe something came from those talks with GH yesterday?.

Wouldnt expect an official announcement for a while yet though

  4. Delph on #avfc fans at Arsenal "They had their tops off & everything. It didn’t put me off - there were a few big-uns in the crowd though!" - @MatKendrick

    Lol, love this guy

  5. Birmingham's under-pressure stars are facing a fans backlash after a group of them went on a late-night bender ahead of their crunch Premier League survival clash.

The Carling Cup winners are in grave danger of the drop after a dismal 2-0 loss at home to Fulham left them one place above the drop zone, and that only on goal difference.

With a crunch trip to Spurs to come on Sunday, Alex McLeish’s squad were in high spirits at the club’s end of season awards bash on Monday evening.

They were allowed to drink, but about eight senior stars, including keeper and player of the year Ben Foster, upset McLeish and fans by staying out boozing until 4am.

Reserve team keeper Colin Doyle’s wife Becky blew the whistle as she tweeted: “P***** off with my husband getting in at 4am with Fossy and waking me up. Celebrate next week when you’re safe. Have some respect.”

Blues season ticket holder Jamie Harper replied on Twitter: “I wouldn’t mind if we were safe and playing well but we are not. We are fighting for our lives and we are s***. It’s a joke.

“Footballers are f****** pathetic. Biggest game of the season Sunday and they are all getting p*****. Makes me sick.”

Becky Doyle’s post was later removed, but she still joked: “golf bag and golf clubs still for sale, comes with one hung-over husband”.

The club’s awards bash - called The Big City Event - was held at the NIA in Birmingham.

A spokesperson said: “The Big City Event was a chance for everybody associated with the football club to reflect on a historic season.

“However, the importance of this weekend’s final fixture of the Barclays Premier League was stressed throughout the evening.

“Both the players and the management staff are fully focused on Sunday’s hugely-important fixture at White Hart Lane.”

  6. i very much doubt he would play a long ball style of football with the talent that we have

    This.

Big Sam maintains he played this way because of the clubs he was at and the resources he had at his disposal.

    And it was a success.

Didn't work too well at Newcastle though when he did in fact have more talented players....

Blackburn squad not good enough to play football? really? he had Pederson, N'Zonzi, Dunn, Emerton, Kalinic, Olsson, Nelsen, Jones, Hoilett, Samba, Givet ....that's no worse than the likes of Bolton, Fulham etc...

he never should've been sacked by newcastle though, he was very harshly treated by them and they paid the ultimate price

i think you'll find that bolton and fulham have better squads than blackburn, although it is close

Because they hated the football and wanted better than Midtable. With hindsight it was a bad decision... but probably seemed sound at the time.

  7. JJ Abrams (Lost, Alias, Latest Star Trek, Fringe) + Jonathon Nolan (Dark Knight, Memento, Dark Knight Rises) making a new TV show about a CIA agent presume dead + a partner try to stop crimes before they happen.

Lost + Dark Knight + Minority Report = Good times.

    It's called Person of Interest.

Also has one coming out called Alcatraz which has a 4400/Fringe vibe too it.

  8. dont shoot the messenger if it bollocks. just passing it on.

Oh that's way too easy. You'll be water-boarded, rodgered by a starved grizzly bear, fed food from Iceland, forced to shop in Tenerife then be given a season ticket for the Sty for next season.

    Harsh but Lol'd

  9. If thats true and Moyes has heard what GH thinks about the club, where its going and his ideas for the move forward AND Moyes is interested after that chat. GH deserves a DoF role (for getting Moyes interested not this years results), especially if him and Moyes agree on the forward vision.

    ;)

  10. Yeah, that does seem like random press talk. Though I'd love to see him here.

IF he came here, which is unrealistic in itself, who do we think he could realistically poach from Chelsea for us?

On another note, interesting about Houllier meeting with Randy and Faulkner Today.

I'd take Sturridge, McEachran and Bertrand.

  11. If reducing his workload meant bringing in a hands-on first team coach like Wilkins or Mclaren, then I'd be all for this.

yup, would love wilkins as head coach with GH more upstairs looking after transfers, youth development, big picture style stuff.

Don't think I would tbh. I've got my heart set on either Lambert, van Gaal or Rijkaard

Id love Rikjaard or Van Gaal or even Deschamps

    But I wouldnt be against

    DoF - Houllier

    Manager - Moyes

    Assistant - Wilkins

  12. Heaven forbid it ever happening.. but if Gerard 'left us' whilst in our managerial post after this recent health scare. As bad as it is to think of it purely in these terms... the PR for the club would be an absolute firestorm. The image of the club would be in tatters
