Don't worry everyone, i'll put some money on it being Sherwood, then it definitely won't be him

Maybe not a coincidence that Sherwood's been spotted at Villa games recently?
-
Tonight is the first time I have ever stopped watching a Villa match before the final whistle, watching us just isn't enjoyable anymore with him in charge
-
Aston Villa have become a big joke in the media and footballing world thanks to Lambert and his outstanding ability to break records

More content similar to that of Man City's YouTube channel please, not sure how many others have seen any of it but it's brilliantJust letting you guys know that Tom Fox got back to me - I'm arranging a meeting with the head of media operations to discuss our YouTube channel and video content.
Anything people want me to forward on let me know!

What's the use of being good in the transfer market if you can't get those players to win a game or even score a goal

Imagine we lose to Bournemouth. He will definitely have to go then.
Bournemouth are actually good, i'd have them down as the favourites to win

Sign Gil and then leave please

Someone tweeted Physioroom the other day asking if they knew when Kozak was back and they replied saying expect a return in February
-
Wonder how he's actually doing in Turkey, I've noticed that he plays pretty much every match so he mustn't be doing too badly

Would like to see some of the fringe players against Blackpool but I imagine Lambert will stick with his perceived strongest side as he surely knows that not winning would spell big trouble for him from the fans. It's just ironic that the fringe players probably have more chance of beating Blackpool as the Premiership starting 11 are clearly struggling.

I think there is an improvement on the pitch in terms of style of play, better defence. Ultimately not really an improvement in results though and it's results that matter
Improvement in defence is negated by our incompetence going forward this season
I think that incompetence is rather down to the players selected, nzogbia, weimann and agbonlahor can't create anything. Look how much of a difference grealish and bacuna made after coming on today. Still, Lamberts totally to blame for the team selection, the fact he keeps persisting with players that play awfully every game is probably what annoys me most about him

Hopefully Delph's suspension will force him to play Bacuna and or Grealish or were both fantastic off the bench again today.
Richardson will come in for Delph and Agbonlahor for n'zogbia, Lambert's team selection is too predictable

Please, no more. Bacuna and Grealish offer so much more than he does

Apparently some youth team players will make the squad this week and could get debuts due to injuries/suspensions. Ricardo Calder and Henry Cowans are the names the Birmingham Mail mentioned. They may make the squad but highly doubt Lambert will use them, he doesn't even use the youngsters already in the squad.
What injuries, that we need to bring in youth players?
Senderos, Baker, Cole, Westwood, Kozak injured. Hutton, Cleverley, Richardson suspended.
It was a different article form earlier that mentioned Cowans and Calder.
Paul Lambert has a selection crisis at Aston Villa this weekend.
Philippe Senderos (calf), Nathan Baker (knee), Joe Cole (hamstring), Ashley Westwood(knee) and Libor Kozak (broken leg) are all injured, while Alan Hutton, Kieran Richardson and Tom Cleverley are suspended.
It means that a number of youth team players will be included in the squad and they could even get a first-team bow against Manchester United.

Independent have done a January transfer round up for each team, for us they list Anya from Watford as a 'probable' signing. Cleverley, Fletcher and Jarvis listed as 'other targets' and Young down as a 'dream signing'.
I think it's the Telegraph, no? Anyway, not an inspiring list. I hope we add Cleverley, but sad to say Fletcher isn't the same player since his sickness. And Jarvis is just a good Championship player. Anya seems like he would be a good signing, but has he actually had a good season for Watford?
You're right it was the Telegraph, my mistake

Think about 7 hostages made a break for it leaving just a couple left inside with them, gunman probably realised his bargaining chips were gone and the jig was up so started shooting the unfortunate few that were left. Pretty sure the gunshots started just after the group of hostages fled.
-
Impossible to tell from the footage but clearly someone receiving serious medical treatment on the floor outside the cafe including what looks like efforts to restart their heart.
I just hope its not a hostage or member of the emergency services.
2 dead apparently, succumb to cardiac arrest due to injuries, hopefully 1 was the gunman.
-
That escalated quickly, was watching on BBC when the feed cut out so knew something must have happened, switched to CNN and could see people running everywhere, police shooting, storming the building etc. Seems to be over now, assume he's dead and hopefully no one badly hurt.
-
What were the demands?
One of them was for an ISIS flag to be delivered to them, think another was to speak to Tony Abbott
-
If he is injured are we going to have to re-call Gardner or Johnson? Leaves us with only Sanchez and Richardson at CM

Apparently playing better now at Forest then he was at Brighton. Quite a few fans saying he was MotM tonight against Wigan, played in the holding role
