  1. You gotta love Makouns jumper.

I know GH gets a lot of stick but he means busines. Makoun, Fofana, Walker and Bent all could be and have be signed up. Fofana failed the medical which wasn't his fault. We could still bring in Adam. The guy is a work horse in the transfer market. Bent would be one hell of a signing. Man I hate January exams. Wanna spend all my time on here finding out about transfers!

    what exams you doing mate?

I've just done an AS level maths.

    Maths degree lol

  3. I think Houllier is a top manager but his weakness seems to be this kind of thing - picking up the pieces. Had MON resigned in early July I think we'd be doing a lot better this season.

I agree with this. A really good preseason together will make such a big difference. We WILL survive this year and next year we will be in the top pack again. No doubt.

  4. My problem with McAllister is that he seems to have come here to learn the ropes. I don't want a #2 coming here to learn the ropes, I want him here to impart knowledge that he got elsewhere. Gary Mac doesn't have a long and successful CV as a #2. It's a very different job to being a manager. I've no issue with Sid because he effectively has 2 people above him. But, like others, I wish our assistant was more experienced in his role. I'd love if we went for Wilkins but something tells me Houllier is loyal and would not ditch Gary.

Feel the same. Would love to see Wilkins here.

I was a bit disappointed we didn't try to snap up Steve Clarke before he went over to Liverpool!

  5. Villa supporters who were unable to get a ticket for Sunday's Second City derby will have an extra opportunity to snap up a seat.

A further 250 tickets are set to be made available to Villa supporters for the clash against Birmingham City at St Andrew's [ko 12pm].

The two clubs mutually agreed on the extra allocation, enabling more travelling fans to purchase tickets.

The new batch of tickets will be available to buy from 9am on Wednesday January 12. Prices are £34 for adults, £17 for students and over-65s, £15 for under-18s and £13 for under-12s.

Tickets will still be posted unless collection from Villa Park is requested at the point of sale.

All sales are subject to availability and the original on-sale date/booking criteria.

    Extra 250 tickets available.

  6. Oh god, GH has been chatting about Liverpool again. This time about how Dalglish will struggle, because 'management has changed'. CBA to post the article, its not interesting.

He gets too much stick for talking about Liverpool. I bet since Daglish has taken over that's all he has been asked about. He will answer questions he is asked.
