This isn't a pop or anything but generalising entire fanbases does always make me laugh.

In any fanbase which has tens or hundreds of thousands of people, there will always be a lot of idiots. Any ground in the world you'll see fans getting wound up with time wasting.

Not taken as one M8, Im always up for a healthy discussion. Yeah I get your point maybe I'm a bit blinkered as my wifes family are all blue so thats my only reference. I Have been to a few everton games before with the Fil, Sat in the end behind the goal (Gladys?) Seemed ok chatted to a few guys, obvious by my accent I'm not a scouser no isues at all. Saturday was a whole new kettle of fish, I suppose bad football/tactics and a impending fear of relegation is enougth to make any fan base turn toxic. As Id mentioned earlier the atmosphere was so like VP in our relegation season, not a nice place to be. So glad we have brilliant owners , a manager who has got the team playing and a squad lthat ooks like they are all pulling in the same direction, never want to go back to those Tony Xia days again.

I could never sit with the opposition fans, regardless of who they were. The fear of laughter would be too much

  3. Its great how happy Dean Smith is for the young lads, was grinning and clapping after the 6th went in...These young lads are looking a good prospect I know its only L2 Barrow but hey you can only play and beat what's in front of you. Going to be a good few years for us if these lads keep on developing and getting game time.

I'm sure we started that against Robinson when he was at spurs.  ""You fat ******". Even he started laughing when he shanked one straight out of touch gave us a wave too."

I Remember old Holte end late used to do it as well. Always used to give Seaman grief for being an ex bluenose, Neville Southall for being a tad large around the midriff...and Groblar(SP) just because groblar!

  5. Living and working in the North west I went to a few of the 'Horror Shows' 3-0 loss to Wigan, Bolton 1-0 in the probably coldest day I've ever watched football. Started thinking it was my Fault,  and Id never see the Villa win away again ever!.. Ah then Rotherham Super Jack restored my faith.

  6. Watching BT kind of reminds me of Watching Tony Daley back in his prime, obviously BT hasn't got that blistering pace TD had, but the uncertainty of what's going to happen when he has the ball at his feet gets you to sit/stand up and get excited to see what he,s going to do, beat three players score a worldie, fall over, 50 yard back pass after beating 3 men who knows!
