bcarpet Posted January 3, 2012 Share Posted January 3, 2012 It looks like me and the missus are going to drive round Ireland for our holiday this year and was hoping some people might give us a couple of tips of where to go? We were thinking about going to Belfast and then driving anti-clockwise(ish) for 10 days before finishing up in Dublin. I've read the thread on Dublin so I'm thinking of visiting Kilmainham Gaol & the Guinness factory. How long should I spend in Belfast, is there much to see there? I definately want to go as my Nan was born there. Obviously while I'm in Northern Ireland, I'd like to go see giants causeway too but I haven't done my research enough yet to see where exactly it is and how long to spend there so I can fit it into our trip. Any other suggestions of must see places/things? Also a side note, whats the price of petrol like in the Republic/Northern Ireland compared to England?
