Villa Mick Posted August 7, 2018 Share Posted August 7, 2018 Hi, I’m a villa fan based up in Scotland (also following Hibs closer to home) so unfortunately mostly have to follow from afar. I started following Villa when Martin O’Neill, Stilian Petrov and Shaun Maloney moved down from Scotland and Aston Villa have been my English team ever since! Unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill since the Martin O’Neill days (and ever since I started following Villa!) but I believe we’ll be back where we belong soon! I managed to travel down to Birmingham a couple of years ago to attend my first villa game, ending 1-1 against Newcastle in our first year in the championship. The atmosphere from the Holte End blew me away that day and I can’t wait to return at some point this season! UTV Michael Link to comment
