  1. I predict that the clowns will be in Hysterics come May.

That was our best team tonight, outplayed and dominated by Bolton Wanderers.

We did not even try, and if we did, then we really are in deep shit.

    BTW,

I wonder what the dickhead that is running this club into the ground, thinks, when his arse licker tells him about the empty stadium, and the lack lustre football on show from the fool they hired.

    Circus in the town?

    Its us.

  2. Since only about 30,000 of us real fans bother to show up to watch us play this sorry excuse for football we play under McLeish, what are the odds Lerner who despite his tattoo only has monetary interests in Villa would be botherd? It's NFL season now.

Tell you what mate, they wont see me next home game.

Ive fcuking had it with the whole Villa Park experience. Tonight just wants me to say **** off to the lot of them.

Played off the park by Bolton wanderers lol. Supporters that accept mediocrot y from a manager that coold not even keep the shittist club in england up, by playing the same sterile shite we are forced to watch.

Nah, **** it. Randy is a frigging Blue nose cnut, and will get us relegated.

BTW, first time in thirty years following this great club that ive walked out ten minutes before the end. But hey, cue the randylites and the muppits to proclaim themselves as loyal.....

Wake up you stupid cnuts.

  3. No chance of a start, we need to -and will- take this far more seriously than blooding youngsters.

He ain't that young, when we gonna start playing him then?

I think its quite possible that without that injury he suffered, he may well have gained a little more first team experience. Its put him back a little, so i dont think we should judge this, in age terms, since hes bloody fortunate to be playing at all.

Says a lot about his ability, that he is actually now again, knocking on the door.

  4. I seriously still cant work out what Houllier has done to deserve this God like status with some of you? It's beyond bizzare!

Its pretty freaky if you ask me. Maybe they never really had to sit through and watch his shite week in, and week out?

  5. I would look to see if I could sell to someone with the spondulux to take us forward to win things.

How many oil barons are there that are willing to spend about half a billion on a football team, especially a club like Villa. Its the same thing everton fans say that the club needs to be sold to get investment but you cant sell something nobody wants. Football is fundamentally broken and we are just going to have to accept the fact that we cannot compete with the top clubs under the current system.

Everton is slightly different though, since the ground and facilities are like an Anvil around the neck, otherwise im pretty sure they would have been bought by now.

  6. MOTM for me on saturday

    Me too.

He is not, and never will be a defensive midfielder. He was originally put there because we had nobody else, did a good job, and MoN then kept him there.

Mcleish remembers him for Celtic, and is playing him a little more advanced now, like from when he remembers him. Round pegs for round holes ect....

  7. One missed sitter and he's a shit player? Does'nt make sense.

I'm with the opinion he's been carrying this groin injury for some time. Bents problem is he's the first player on the teamsheet because of his goal record, when it would definitely been more beneficial for us to have him at 100%, not 50%

    Get him fit.

Thing is, when you look at his first miss yesterday, the ball is almost under his foot when it arrives, so when he hits it, its pretty difficult to get much direction on it.

Maybe his starting position and timing could of been better before he recieved it, but if his groin is pulling, then that could effect it.

I thought his second chance was the better, when he pulled it past the post.

But thats Benty, he has always had a reputation for being wasteful, despite the amount of goals he does get. And its his movement that enables him to do that. which yesterday, was not 100%.

  8. i do think Zog will eventually come good once McCleish decides to spend some time with the front 4 on the training pitch and tells them how he would like them to link up....

and as long as we are on the subject...I've always been a huge fan of SWP...he can still rip it up against most full backs....but a younger on fire Zog is the more potent

The problem is not the front four though, its the central midfield trio. Its has no balance to it, and that knocks on to the wide player(s).

Until we rectify that, Zoggy may continue to struggle. Jenas may just prove to be solution, since his passing and box to box play is superior to what we already have in there.

Despite not being fit, the same could be said for Bent, since he likes quicker balls into him.

The player at the club who picks a forward pass quickest is Stephen Ireland, you could see that when he came on yesterday. I really think it's time he was given a chance. N'Zogbia is struggling for consistency at the moment but has still shown flashes of what he can do but his end product has been poor, I'm not going to judge him on 5 games anyway.

Possibly. With that in mind, i think Bolton is the opportune game to try a few things out, Especially with Petrov being doubtful.

Jenas, Ireland and Bannan to start, and persevere with Zoggy. Just see how it runs...

  10. Just got back from the match. I don't think we were that bad, we just came up against better opponents!

Thats a damning statement, because they are a piss poor side.

Still state that our problems lie in the middle of the park. We lack any balance there, and i think we are struggling to find the right combination.

Hopefully Jenas might be the one to knit it all together.

Eck has just mentioned that Petrov has an Ankle injury, so it may be him that makes way.

yeh Newcastle are piss poor team that just happen to be 4th in the prem...frigging muppet.

Sorry to wreck your night, but yeah, in MY OPINION they are a piss poor side.

As for muppet, .....if that makes you feel better, great one. The worlds a better place for knowing what a knowledgeable person you are

  11. Why cant some people just say it the way it is?Bent had two good chances to score and he missed the target, dont sugarcoat it with he aint fit he aint happy with mcleish! For gods sake just say they were bad misses for a bloke with his ability!

But, hes still not fit, bad miss or not :winkold:

  13. well gabby didn't like GH and from what i have read bent loved him, now gabby seems to love AM and i get the feeling something is not right with bent and AM

    Thats way off.

Watch his movement tonight on MOTD (if they show enough of it ). Was the same at Everton too. Hes just not %100.

  14. Hutton was fine, there was alot worse than him today. He is no worse than Luke Young. Yes he did make a couple of mistakes, but when match fit I believe he will be a decent player.

Defensively, he was dire. His positioning and closing down is very poor. Hopefully he will get better with games, but his lack of Football over the last 12 months, shows.

He really wasn't that bad, considering he is fitting in to a new side and it was only his second match, he was better than the first match (granted not that hard to be) but I think his positioning being poor was due to his lack of football and fitness (as you also suggested) :thumb: .

He looked a threat going forward and think he will still work out to be a good solid signing at the least

He just needs games. In a way, its sink or swim for him, because we dont have anything else.

  15. Sounds like Bent is too, this season

Hes not fit, and is not getting the service. His movement is not right, and i suspect hes being told to carry on because Mcleish does not have confidence in anyone else.

For me, he needs taking out, and getting whatever is holding him back, sorted. Otherwise, we are at risk of losing for a longer period.

  17. Very poor, and was not helped by being left on the pitch. Fans around me were starting to get on his back, and i know its early days, but whom can blame them with performances like that?

I still think he will come good, but when?

  18. No.

I say that because, it was he that allowed the wages to get out of control, then passed the whole buck on to O'Neil, whom was only trying to follow Randy's aim of getting Champions league...

I'm sure had Randy told MON he couldn't spend money on this player and that player (which IMO is why he left) then MON would have walked a lot sooner than he did... and you'd be on here blaming Randy for not backing MON. So it's a lose lose situation for Randy really isnt it?

Theres possibly a grain of truth in that, however, it was not us stating that our goal was Champions League, hence the heightened expectations.

Im pretty sure, things would of been differently in hindsight, however it still reeks of incompetence, especially when you look at what has transpired since.

O'niel would not have got us champions league no matter how much cash he was given, and i think he knew that. The reason he quit, was because the conditions of his contract were being changed. He wanted total control, Randy wanted to wrestle that from him, because the total control meant everything from picking the tea lady, to crossing the R and Ts on contracts.

He did not leave because he was not allowed to spend.

Anyway, i think Benty will score tomorrow :winkold:

  19. I don't know how you can absolve MON of any blame. He's just as much to blame as Randy.

Im not, but one is more to blame than the other.

One is a hard nosed buisines man and the other a Football manager, whom was just doing his best, so it does not take a miricle to work out which one :winkold:

Anyways, back to Bent me thinks...

  20. And the person whom has been in charge to ensure we have no money is?

Theres always a bad guy, or in Randy, an inept one.

You honestly believe that because we dont have fast amounts of money its because we're not generating it out of thin air?

    No.

I say that because, it was he that allowed the wages to get out of control, then passed the whole buck on to O'Neil, whom was only trying to follow Randy's aim of getting Champions league...

But since then the aims have changed.....

    So whos fault is that?

    The pixies?
