Overall been a good window I think. Diaby and Tielemans looks to be settling in nicely, Pau looks good and Zaniolo is a smart signing. Lenglet as cover is a low risk move too. Shifted quite a few players and with Coutinho leaving probably gives us opportunity for one more signing. Let’s see.

So Grealish had to leave Villa to get picked for England according to Southgate… why is Henderson getting picked?

Enjoyable game

The extra time added at the end of the games seems too excessive to me. Going to grind if it isn't already.

Don’t particularly see the point of replacing him with Acuña unless it works from a purely financial perspective
I think Acuna deal is off. Just a hunch.
I'd keep Digne and spend that money on attacking players.

They are back in trouble this season I feel

Looks like this is done pending official announcement, got a good feeling about this.

Hmm…. I trust Emery so let’s see.

Happy with this. Emery will take him up a level. Great signing I think.

Marca are not often hugely reliable though. They do however get info from good sources at Madrid. Hopefully we know real answers soon
True, They seem close to Emery though.

Be interesting to see how they do next season. De Zerbi has pretty much already confirmed Mac Allister and Caicedo will be sold. Recruitment is very impressive but so was Southamptons at one point who had the same model. Brighton seem more well run I suppose though.

I think with the more fixtures next season because of Europe and the fact Emery will take it seriously you would think we would probably need a larger squad. Certainly today I looked at the bench and winced a little, goes to show what a job he has done though.

I actually don’t mind the play off round game. We have the right manager in charge now who will take Europe seriously.

Happy for him, seems to have found a home. £5m+ would be good considering length of contract left too.

but especially now after De Zerbi’s comments this afternoon
Why? He would be saying the opposite if they qualified for conference instead.

If Sevilla win the Europa league maybe Monchi would want another project? He has also worked with Emery before. I’d be really happy with it. A coup for sure.
-
Under Emery we would be one of the favourites to win the conference league. It would also be a personal challenge for him to win it. We haven’t won silverware for a while now so yeah I do want to qualify for it. West Ham fans and players are absolutely on cloud 9 reaching the final - I would love to be in that position next season.

I’d rather be in a European competition any competition as we have a manager which will take it seriously.

City won’t be on the beach as they have CL final to be play so naturally starting places for that are up for grabs… time to impress.
