  1. Glad of the 3 points and the clean sheet, really helping confidence with the defence not leaking any and Gabby scoring both ends of the pitch should be high in confidence. Milner= New penalty taker in my eyes.

I am an admirer of Cuellar but not at RB we need L.Young back soon, and this will complete the defence. Maybe we will see him on Wednesday if he is fully fit?

  2. That said, people deal with things in different ways. I'm not going to judge.

True, Collinson at west ham was playing the night after his dad had died.

Hopefully Luke will be back soon.

Must be horrible for the family. It's shocking how this can happen nowadays. Hopefully Luke won't get rushed back and takes the time of he needs.

I've just read that article and it is very shocking and still not knowing how he died or anything must be terrible, I hope Luke has all the time in world to help his parent(s).

  4. I presume he is still on compassionate leave but read somewhere he was back in training, however my thoughts are that he is waiting until after the funeral which I haven't read anything about a funeral taking place yet.

  5. General, i know this has been mentioned plenty of times but it is getting frustrating now. I know the people serving at the kiosks are on minimum wage but can we please at least make them earn that?

They have 15 minutes to serve 1000's of people yet there is no urgency, on Sunday for a rare change i ventured downstairs from the upper holte and found no queue, there was a guy standing there doing nothing so i ssumed he was just some sort of runner so i waited for a young girl to finish, after about 3 minutes he looked at me and asked what i wanted! i was gobsmacked as he was just standing there day dreaming.

When you go into mcdonalds when busy you will often see a supervisor geeing on the staff clapping hands getting some urgency into them, may i suggest our supervisors do the same? I think new supervisors or trainning for current staff would be worth the money as looking at the current productivity you could cover the cost with the extra business.

I don't want to answer the for general but thought I would say that I used to work at VP in those kiosks and it is hard work, the staff have to do a lot of prep before the game and are there 3 hours before kick off, the wage is pretty poor and it used to be (might not be anymore) paid per match you work and works out at being a pretty poor wage. However the majority of staff there are from agencies and will be different people every week and this means that they do not know the job and what to do. I agree sometimes the service is slow but as I have worked there I know how hard it can be and how bad the people at the games can treat you.

However I think it would be beneficial for the club to employ more permanent staff and less agency staff, maybe appeal to kids at school who need to earn some money like me and 6 of my friends did when we worked there as opposed to taking the easy option and employing agency staff who can find it hard to quickly pick up the job needed.

  6. would it really be a disaster if we went out of Europe in the first round, or a blessing in disguise?

    A Blessing thats for sure.

Squad is tiny and will struggle in the prem so for me forget europe focus on staying safe in the premiership.

But surely our ambition in the premiership is to qualify for Europe, but by going out in the 1st round kind of makes it pointless even trying to get there in the league!?
