  1. Bruce has a fantastic Championship record and he brought together a great mentality and team spirit this year. You're not going to get the most exciting football but he will grind out results and get us in upper section of the table. Why throw it all away to take a punt and gamble on someone else?

This is club has been crying out for stability and he brings a team together so let's give him another shot at it I say.

  2. Haven't been to VP for a couple seasons and the bus I used to go on no longer runs and need a bit of help with traveling to VP. (Searched the forum for a different thread but couldn't find anything so apologies if I've missed one)

What's it like at the Aston and witton train stations? I'm guessing it's ridiculously busy?

I'll be coming from the M6. Found the car parks on the OS but doesn't really tell you how likely you are to get a space, whether you're going to be queued for 7 hours after the game or if it's a dodgy walk to the ground etc.

Alternatively any advice or suggestions on car parks would be appreciated.

    :D

  3. Just because he's signed doesn't mean he's a starting player we are relying on. Good player who could be used well as a squad and impact player and who can play in first team when other players are injured.

We've got to build a good squad not just first team. Fact he is Villa through and through is great too. Not enough players with loyalty nowadays.

  4. I went a couple of years ago with 6 mates. As long as you leave your principles and morals at home you'll have a blast! I went for 7 nights and when you're getting in at 6 every morning you will be ready for home after that! If you plan on getting plastered every night you probably won't want to do an awful lot of activities. We went on an organised day to a water park which was brilliant. They shut the park off to the public after a certain time and we had unlimited sangria in the price we paid and they left some of the slides open. People went down the slides together, straight after each other all peed up... It was chaos. Would never happen in England. Majority of other days we just recovered at the beach, pool or just like playing table tennis or whatever.

Also I would add to be sensible to a certain extent. One of my mates got beaten up by a security guard after jumping in the pool in middle of night, heard of quite a few pick pockets and a random kid walked in our room too. Also I'd pre drink to keep costs down!

  5. I like Lambert and believe he is proud to be our manager too. Would like to see him given an opportunity with new back room staff to freshen things up and the chance to purchase players on a higher (but not astronomical) wage.

  6. All depends how long the talks have been ongoing for. There's so much ground work which needs to be done before negotiations begin to take place e.g. valuations of assets, checking accounts, checking potential for expansion. Hopefully the fact that the lawyers may be over here would mean that the majority of the groundwork has been completed and negotiations are underway.

  7. Like him. Think he could help us keep possession better however I worry that he's into his thirties. I suppose he wouldn't be expected to be sprinting down the wings so his experience on the ball is what they're looking at.

I'd be happy to see this deal done.
