I genuinely think milner will stay now. I think mancini believes hes not worth 30 million (which he isnt) and will look elsehwere. While alot of people on here slate o'neil i actually think hes been very canny with this one.

were not a fashionable club and we dont pay ridiculous wages and we dont have a manager that foreign players would love to play for i.e wenger. we've gone as far as we can with type of players we can attract so we need to pull out all the stops to bring in the so called top 4 quality players or players leaving big clubs who arent obsessed with champions league football

we are in a position where we have to sign players who have the talent, prepared to work hard and aim for a champions league finish not walk into a team who are already in it. if a player is playing excellent for there club who are already in the cl and want to move to another team who are already in the cl then that is fine but why sign players who arent really the star performers in there team and may not already be in the cl and give them a easy route when they havent earned it i.e joe cole thats why he was released and not offered a new contract when he thought he deserved to have his pick out of the other top 3 teams and ended up at 7th placed liverpool cos his rep and ego is bigger than his performances. he knows he has just as much chance finishing 4th with villa as he does liverpool but he will earn way more at liverpool hence why we need players who are determined to prove themselves

no team can outspend man city but at least show were gonna try and replace some of the deadwood with players who can play a part during the season and move the club forward

Yes, but wouldn't you think that the massive spending and unlimited resources ManC is throwing around isn't the lest bit tempting to Milner? I think we all know that we're going to bring in players and spend a bit. They will all have a part to play in some reason, but Milner will always find ManC to be the the more interesting side in that regard.

u got a good point but man city spent loads last season and just scraped finishing higher than us and he might go from being a player who plays every game to possible bit part player

You mean outspend ManC? Fantastic idea! It's not like we haven't spent already, we paid a decent enough amount for him in the first place. We cannot match the cash ManC is willing to offer him in signing on fees, salary or overall transfer budget. No hope. We have enough money to say "pay up or **** off" though. Which is what we're doing.

I think ozil will be champions league bound. Would probably fit in nicely at a team like Milan.

We need at least 5 players in and I doubt we will be getting anyone in until we ship out the players who arent getting a game but are still being paid big wages

players out harewood,osbourne,beye,shorey,l.young(don't agree with this one),salifou,sidwell,coker?, heskey&carew that's alot of work to replace those players with players who can help us get stronger as a team
