Our players don't seem to evolve and improve. The same poor mistakes are being made 3 seasons later which tells me they aren't being coached properly

I agree but there is defo something wrong at villa. We keep saying massive clear out of players but it's getting worse. I firmly believe the coaching staff aren't up to the job. I would be happy seeing him play at villa park at any level

This is where I get a bit myth'd with it all. Sure some people's record commands more respect than others. For instance, you wouldnt expect SAF to be viewed in the same light as let's say David moyes. 

However, I find it absolutely disgraceful that the players don't show respect to every manager that comes into a club. 

Sure, certain managers do things differently to others, people might not agree sometimes however they are THE manager and that alone should command the minimum respect.

People keep banging on about how we might be a few better points off had the board backed the manager. How about the players backed the manager. Bought into his training methods etc like they are bloody well paid to do. Then we might be a few points better off.

Doubt we will see any banners aimed at players though.

My son plays for a academy and even at that level you would be shocked that just the presence of some coaches walking past make the boys play 10% more.

The biggest problem is the coaching staff do not command enough respect from the players

Confidence will be just as importance as the actual players.

I remember his first full pre season. Not only did he use is athletic capabilities to enhance our attacking threat, he defended from the front, he pressed high up the pitch, he never gave defenders a moments rest. He was so hungry and eager. 

Now look at him, and look at the desire Defoe shows everytime he steps on the pitch. I am sure he had better aspirations than seeing out his final years playing under Big Sam at a shit club in a shit city. He is and always has been a model professional.

Gabby is not even 30 either. **** off you prick. Any legacy you may have had is gone now. 

Defoe went to the mls and realised the premier league is the place to be. Gabby is just not very good

How on earth would you spin...come and watch us in the championship....with the same losers who got us relegated and have won about 5 home games in the last 5 years.

I'm not saying sell everyone as we'll have to keep some around as cover and squad players, indeed a few will still be starting week in week out like Hutton but relegation requires a fresh start and 4-5 new players.

Who knows maybe the club will finally be sold...a lot can happen in the summer months and then you'll get plenty of new signings.

Even if the club is sold we won't get anyone in the summer to get excited about
