Can't be many players in the league who are faster with the ball than him?
Or accelerate from standing quite so quickly with the ball, just explosive how he takes off. Sherwood seems to think he has what it takes to mature this crop of youngsters into the real deal. Right now we have Grealish who looks to be a yard ahead mentally than most players even at this level, and has great feet; then there's this lad who in terms of raw physical pace and power seems to be a cut above most players at this level, plus he looks to have good technique. If Sherwood can get the best out of those two consistently for a few years and they stay injury free then we shoudl see some really nice football and tear some teams apart. Obviously a great striker would be nice for them to work with
We don't need a great striker. We need someone who is capable of hitting the target & at least make the keeper work. Then chances our team miss are really basic level

Still finding his feet. He will get at least 10 league goals

It really infuriates me that Lerner is getting a little bit of a free pass this year because we've been so active in the transfer window, despite actually investing very very little. It isn't good enough for a club of our size, no sorry, scratch that, it isn't good enough for the size of club we used to be.
Once again we will have spent less than at least 80% of the rest of the division despite needing it more than all of them. We were the worst team to survive, we lost three or four of our best players from that rubbish side, we have struggled to score goals all preseason and in our first three games and yet still no investment.
I simply hate Lerner now. It annoys me that I get so annoyed by it, I should be used to it by now! But what bothers me even more is those that can't see this lack of investment - it's all well and good being optimistic about the signings we have made but to praise him for doing the absolute bare minimum is shocking.
If we can't even expect to spend £10m after sales now, how small time a club are we? Season after season I'm told it's because we spent so frivolously under MON - that was ages ago now! Even the last of the big earners have left this summer too. Where the f*ck is the money?!
According to transfermarkt, we have spent £140k! To put it in to further perspective, WBA have spent £24m, Leicester £22m, Bournemouth £17m, Watford £20m, Sunderland £17m and Newcastle £45m all after their player sales too. This is the same Sunderland and Newcastle who have been (and in Sunderland's case are being) slated for under investment. Only four teams have currently spent less, Spurs will resolve that before the window closes for sure and the others are the miraculous Saints and then Stoke and Everton who hardly have relegation concerns being solid midtable teams.
The more I think about it the more I get annoyed! How do some of you stay so calm?! Is it resignation? Is it eternal optimism?
The pound signs should be back out for Lerner. He is a disgrace of a 'custodian'.
He's simply going to pocket the new TV money and get his personal wealth back up then jog on

Keep up the good work. The defense are doing their job it's the attackers letting us down

I still think he has a good role with us from the bench. Really handy plan b weapon.
Just need a starter striker to get some of the pressure off him.
Come off the bench and do what exactly?
We're winning he comes off and run around doing f all
We're drawing comes on and does f all
We're losing he comes on and fs up every chance he gets. Why do people still want him here. It's so vexing

I would bet Sinclair would bury most of the chances that gabby rolls back to the keeper b
-
How is that a worse team Briny? Gets rid of 2 of our worst players in Gabby and Bacuna and Sinclair has played striker in his career
Exactly. A few guys on here are blind to the fact gabby is poo and it's a squad game we have to see what other players can offer

I didn't see game yet. In comparison who is he as fast as. i.e Lennon
-
I've faith Sherwood will give him match days off
