At which point does Rodri 'receive' the ball from Mings though?

That's making the word receive mean something it doesn't.

Again, just the like the pundits and the media, you're quoting something without actually questioning what it says.

This law quite clearly means situations where the defender passes, heads, whatever's the ball to a player stood offside. Not when the offside player comes back and tackles him. In what way does the word 'receive' cover Rodri's actions here?

I'm sorry to be blunt, but I've seen this exact wording at least a hundred times since yesterday and it's a load of bollocks. It's absolutely the PGMOL pulling the wool over everyone's eyes and people swallowing it without displaying a sliver of critical thought.

This is the problem, same with politics. Someone in ‘authority’ quotes something to justify an action, which is clearly incorrect, and no one gets a chance to call them out on it!

This post should be nailed to the PGMOL door and they should not do anything else until they answer it!

As someone else said, it is guaranteed to happen again this weekend, and guaranteed to be called offside. I pray Watkins is told to stand offside and do the same, to prove the point.

  2. Not the prettiest, but best performance from a team a week behind so far. Don’t forget how tough it is to break down 10 men, especially a big organised side like SU, many top teams also struggle under those circumstances.

a bit soppy in the final third when we should have scored second, but some good performances, especially the new boys.

Is this confirmed officially anywhere? I have a baggies mate at work that is happily trolling all the Villa fans, saying that Derby only got the extra allocation because Villa didn't sell out Club Wembley :crylaugh:Despite me telling him that the West ones were Villa, and have sold out.

Absolutely 100% guaranteed, we are Wembley Members.  Villa half sold up way faster than Derby, and still some Derby stock floating around - although it does sound like there will be a fair few Villa fans in the Derby half of Club Wembley.

  4. Just to clarify, there is no neutral Club Wembley for this match, it is totally segregated villa west end and derby east.

It is neutral for FA Cup and Carabao Cup etc, but not play offs.

Some resellers mistakingly sold Club Wembley as neutral, as that is the case for normal calendar events!

  5. Just as heads up, some Club Wembley tickets are e-tickets, and some are paper tickets, so having either isn’t a confirmation. Most tickets sold through the authorised reseller market were only received today from Wembley, so if you are getting e-tickets they may have been sent, or if you are getting paper tickets they may arrive tomorrow
