You are correct with regards to diaby and song.Song has been very consistent and improved by leaps and bounds.Diaby always had talent but injury problems and poor decision making had not helped.This season he also shown signs of improvement.Not as effectively as Song but could get their.Glad to see both have been tied to new "long term" contracts and with Cesc also on a mega 8 year deal we have some stability over our positions in midfield. That said Rambo (expected to start) is a huge talent himself and from whom we expect big things in the future.He's been getting more game time and certainly has impressed. Fabregas,Denilson and Ramsey i think will start in midfield. Bendtner and Nasri on the bench the latest from AW.

We're having one of our best seasons for a long time, our opponents have just lost 3-1 to Stoke in the cup and we've lost 3 of our last 15 league games and we get predictions like this. :shock: Ahh it's Richard so acceptable. :winkold: I thought it was acceptable because it was an opinion expressed honestly? I don't think we lost a home game by that score when we were utter shite under O'Leary so dosen't make sense to me given our status in the league. And you're saying we'll lose by that margin to a team who've just lost a cup tie 3-1 at Stoke. Given that we lost 3-0 to them four weeks ago and it could have been 7 or 8 I don't think this is that outrageous! In that game, Fabregas only played 27 mins I think but will probably start tomorrow night. Having said that I think they will miss Diaby and Song. I think we can beat them but will need to match their three in midfield to do so and press them like we did at their place last year. As for the injuries, methinks Petrov will play as we're a bit short in central midfield depth with Gardner gone and NRC injured but MON if he's struggling after 70 minutes, take him off! We are in good form at the moment having taken 23 points from 27.Villa away is a tough game no doubt though and we'll have to play well to get a win.

Evening all Seems like Niklas Bendtner will be in the squad after a 3 month layoff and Nasri is back after a couple of weeks on the sidelines. Diaby is out.Song will 99% be out as well. The other 5 or so players are also out !!!

We've been depleted because Van Persie is out till april while bendtner got injured at the same time and has been out since mid november.Eduardo has just come into an injury free state and is still not 100 percent.Rosicky can't play much and is getting to his groove missing more than 18 months of football.Nasri was out for 2 months and is injured again.Denlison was out for a long time period.Arshavin has been playing injured while gallas and vermaelen have played every minute of every league game are barely getting rested.Then you have Walcott who has made a few games as a sub and generally been injured.Clichy was out for around 2-3 months while gibbs was also for the same time and then we heard he will not play till august 2010.Djourou is in a period out for 8 months and will probably be back in april.Arshavin has been playing injured for 5 weeks now.Even the kids who come after all these players such as merida and wilshere are doubtful for the game.

Hi all, We have lots of injuries at the moment.Squad might have Song as he is now back after Cameroon got eliminated but it is unlikely. The back five are all first choice at this moment which means Almunia,Gallas,Sagna,Vermaelen and Clichy are all set to start. In midfield Cesc is certain to start and as is probably denilson as well.Ramsey or Eastmond might be the 3rd in midfield or as i said the minute possibility that Song plays. We'll probably have the trio of Eduardo,Arshavin and Rosicky at the front. This all according to squad news at this moment in time. Cesc is probably going to be our key player and he's really stepped up with an awesome tally of 14 goals and 17 assists. I predict a high scoring game.
