    Anyone going on Sunday?

Yes taking the kids, find it's a bit more family friendly than the men's matches. Saw the Man City home game at the start of the season so hoping for as much entertainment again

  2. Bit gutted when this does get finalised, don't think he has ever really done anything wrong and has scored and assisted some great goals when he has had his chances. Just hope the replacement is an exciting one to soften the blow of losing a good goalscorer

Shocking half from him today. I’m leaning towards Carlos Chambers to start the season.

It was a slippery pitch but he just seemed to slip more than everyone else. Either he's being too casual or needs new boots

  4. Out fought in my eyes again. Just too nice, no one fighting Leeds at their own game. Coutinho, Buendia and Ramsey were class for half an hour but not enough steel or composure elsewhere. Defense just got involved in Leeds' niggly game epitomised with some stupid yellow cards. Ref was atrociously inconsistent

  5. Hope all works out for him, always seemed to keep his head down when out of the team. Produced so many important goals and moments to help us get back into a Premier League team. Seemed to be rarely injured too

  6. If it was given for Ramsey being offside (and involved?) then why did the ref need to look at the screen?? Isn't it normally lines on the screen and then ruled out. It seems like someone was offside but we needed to involve the ref to find a reason they were involved in the goal. What a farce

  7. Mings doesn't seem right recently. No idea if that relates to coaching or something personal. Personally I like him as a seemingly decent human being. Really interested to see how he responds under a new manager

  8. Potter or Hasenhuttl for me in terms of those with experience of the Premier League. Seem to have the potential to step at the same rate that the progress the club want to make. There's plenty on here who have a lot of knowledge of managers around Europe but i'd be anxious of them settling in fast and building the team spirit needed

  9. Hi, I have been a Villa fan all my life. The earliest game I remember was home defeat to Oldham in 1993 sitting high up in the North Stand with my Dad. Became a Season ticket holder during the O'Neil years until relegation when having children meant I couldn't get there every match. Go a few times a season at the moment but watch as much as I can and love the chat and podcasts to fill the week with all things Villa.
