Haaland and KDB both benched
Easy win now

is his buy back mandatory if they go down?
or is it an optional buy back?
The bloke on twitter suggested it was mandatory
Annoyingly, it makes him incredibly hard to sell next season unless it's directly to a championship club for a much lower fee
-
Benched for the 2nd game in a row
Can't even get in the worst team in the league, some of the bed wetting over selling him was hilarious
-
He's too slow to be a great player in the league, but he's ok
-
That could be a career ender for Mings, he's at the wrong age to get something severe

Money obviously means more to them 2 halfwits than Villa ever did.
I'd never wear another teams shirt. Ever.
Of course it means more than Villa ever did.
Some people need to grow up. This level of tribalism is odd, it's not impressive

No, you couldn't
Chelsea have spent more than Man City and they finished 12th. Man Utd have spent as much as them and been shite for a decade.
He's the best manager ever

Not many players looked good though. Its like saying JWP is shit because Southampton went down
Yes, that's what I said

His numbers are impressive for last season not sure how he has been poor? Wasnt he injured as well?
Numbers might be impressive but he was shite
Don't think it means much though, the whole squad looked poor and they were clearly in disarray
We've seen with our own players how they can go from looking hopeless to great in the right set up

Pep could turn up to a match in odd shoes and be labelled a genius.
He is a genius though

He's still miles off the Villa levels but he won't ever be able to reach them under Pep because he still can't do the things that made him worth 100m.
He's a much better player than when he was at Villa.
Being the one man team with no responsibilities and freedom to do what you want is a much easier job than the role he's playing for a machine like City
The Villa version of Grealish would get subbed in 5 minutes by Pep

If we go back properly through to the 90s and to the European Cup era, when this stat wasn't even recorded, then players like Charlton, Keegan, Hoddle, Waddle, etc. would all feature.
In recent times, most likely Rooney, Beckham.
The clue is in how few of Jack's "chances" convert into goals.
A better stat would be expected assists (xA) which would factor in the *type* of chances he's creating, and would give more weight to players who are splitting defences with their passes, rather than just having lots of touches around the box. Jack creates a lot of low percentage chances because he recycles possession around the box.
It's not a criticism of him as a player, I think he's class. Just pointing out that this stat inflates his contribution to games.
Jack has almost identical XA to KDB in the champions league
Grealish 2.5 XA
KDB 2.8 XA

And that's why he left.
Champions League final and treble incoming for Jack.
Excellent again tonight

The problem I have with the take they presented on MOTD was that they just assumed we'd play like that regardless of opposition. Kane and Son, for their strengths are not massively quick, so it's much less of a risk. And we've got pacey CBs, so it can be our preferred style, but we'll not be on the halfway line for Liverpool, clearly.
The lack of faith the media in the UK have of Emery is just astonishing.
I don't think this could be further from the truth.
Spurs main tactic is to break the offside trap with balls over the top, Kane and Son have scored countless goals like that. This is also the main reason they had 9 offsides.
We took on their biggest strength and beat them

Probably best I’ve seen him in a city shirt. Only took a year and half but he actually looks the player they signed.
He's been great all season

So you are quite happy for a team that has cheated for the last x amount of years to win the title AGAIN so good old Jack gets a medal?
Yes.
If the owners have played the system, that's not the fault of the players.

Personally I think he will be our next big thing to come through the academy and will ultimately in time replace Watkins.
No chance.
He's 21 and out on loan.
We've signed a 19 year old who is coming off the bench
If they thought he was the Watkins replacement, they wouldn't have signed Duran and they'd have kept Archer here

We'd be absolute clowns not to give him 10 games in the Prem and see what happens.
You can't teach finishing like that.
There's so much more to the striker role than finishing, he needs to develop that to be ready for the PL
-
Huge moment for him. Looks like he's enjoying his football now too.
Hopefully another title win for him

On one hand, he would be our best defender.
On the other hand, it's a lazy signing. I want us to be finding the next Maguire, not the current one.
There's got to be talent out there similar to Botman, Romero, Webster, Saliba etc
