  1. Just a few observations, feel free to crucify me 🤣

We are missing a genuine DM, with Nakamba injured we went shopping for an upgrade but couldnt get one, I think our tactics rely on a strong DM to create balance in attack. Luis is a good midfielder but not an outright DM and I think that frustration is showing.

Our strikers are not playing right. Short on confidence or not able to play the role being asked. Particularly highlighted in Newcastle match, balls into the box looking for tap home, striker nowhere near.

Our CB need to move out with the balls. Mings and Konsa are too comfortable sitting there looking to knock it about. Ive seen Gerrard telling them to carry it out of the press and when they have our play improved and we beat the press - why are our CB not playing the tactic they are clearly being told?

We still have Grealish syndrome. Give it to Buendia, give it to Couthinio. Ok job done, everyone relax and you guys go score now. Newcastle put 2 men on Couthinio and our plan fell apart.

Just what ive seen last few games myself being an armchair professional 😀

I agree with your point that that’s how it should be. My point is that having to be clear and obvious to overrule the ref is literally the rule in football as well, but notwithstanding that being the rule on paper it absolutely isn’t what is done in practice.

My reply was meant as a joke, the laughing face didnt load. I agree is a farce 😀

Cavani never touched the ball and didn’t block Martinez so no it wouldn’t have been offside.

Mings was also last man back, what’s he supposed to do? leave his position for a ball he’s never going to get to?

Ironic post is ironic since you clearly can’t see the game objectively.

Cavani would have been offside when strike was taken. As he was in line of sight and reaching to play the ball (I think Emi tried to say that) goal would have been chalked off.

I understand what youre saying about last man back but with our whole team in a hard line, would we really put 1 man behind them all? Personally i think he dropped back when he shouldnt.

Always nice to see someone with a constructive comment, even if it doesnt agree with mine.

This game is for the winning if we want it

The "where is mings? How was that his fault?" microscope is very real

Been watching him all game. 3 or 4 passes to pkayers under pressure. Calling for a pass back the keeper to others when wide open, then doing it only to get it back. The loaf ball rather than taking a second to think that our forwards are hslf the size of the CB he is loafing at.

Played Cavani onside for the goal, if not its ruled offside. Everyone else held the line.

For second goal, played a ball into the man with winger advancing under serious pressure, then as Sanson played back the ball, took 2 steps back as pass is played then checked and hesitated before closing the ball.

How about next time before trying to put someone down because they dont agree exactly with your point of view, you dont sling nonsenical "microscope" remarks like a child
