  1. I have a virus on my lap top. What is the best thing to download in an attempt to delete the virus? I have Norton anti virus but that didnt stop the problem occuring. Virus came from watching Villa yesterday on FrontRowSports!

    Thanks

  2. We sign players from the lower leagues so we shouldn't be surprised when we get performancies like that. Westwood didn't track for two of th.e goals which is pretty basic stuff.

Barry, young, Milner, downing, mellberg, Lauren have left or been sold and we replace them with Players from lower leagues - what do we expect?

Told a mate this morning we would finish top half after last week - the embarrassment!

  3. £1k for me and my son in the Trinity. No chance will I renew. I love AVFC and have supported them for 40 years but its so boring and expensive as well as the prem in general being uncompetitive. I could actually stomach the mid table mediocrity if we were actualy entertained for a change. Watched yesterday on a stream on the TV as I couldn't be bothered to go. Glad I didn't bother.

the only positive is that we may have a few decent youngsters coming through. belnd that with a few experienced and good players (Hutton I ain't looking at you) and we could be fine. Re - sign Barry?

  4. Queuing down the Trinity Rd or Witton lane to get into the Holte

Arriving in the ground at 1.30 for a 3pm kick off to ensure you got a good place on one of the bars. My son can't beleive this as we now arrive 5 mins before KO

Always wondering what it must be like to sit at a game. My dad said we couldn't afford it.

Wearing 2 AV scarves around you wrists pretending to be tough

Standing at the back of the Holte wondering if the away fans would pay a visit

Pandemonium at Aston station trying to get a train on the way home

Bumping into away fans on the way back to said station

Getting up on a saturday morning and then deciding whether to a game or not. None of this forward planning malarky

    Knees up Mother Brown

    Great times

When people say Aston Villa are boring, it is not just the style of play they are referring to, it is also the club itself. Not much happens, uninspiring players. Boring boring club, and unfortunately I have to agree with them. Apart from the MON years and the time in the 90s when the club were doing well, this has alwys been the case.

It may be true in "your time" but it is ridiculous to claim that apart from "MON years and the time in the 90's" that AVFC have "always" been boring. From the early 70's to early 80's we were one on the most exciting teams in modern times! I was there and it saddens me that younger fans have never experienced an exhilarating AVFC team like we had then! We havent "always" been boring.

You didnt read my previous post did you.

You mentioned "always been the case"

Mike M is spot on. I give you seasons in my time

    1975, 1977 (awesome team and season) 1981, 1982, 1988, 1989, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2007 to 2010

Your comments on Mellberg are incorrect. He was a hero no question because he embodied everything about AVFC

    Suggest you start supporting Bayern

Never posted to you before, but regularly read your replies to our questions and cant believe how lucky we are to have you as the face of AVFC. To date you, Randy and the Board have a done a fine job and have provide excellent financial support to MON. The difference between the DOL years until the end of last season has been phenomenal. Thank you

However, big problems now loom large and big decisions need to be made. I've been supporting Villa for nearly 40 years, am a current season ticket holder and have seen some great and some very poor teams. The 1985/86 relegation team and the last year of O'leary's team were recognisable for two things. A team that didn't want to play for the manager and just total shambles generally on the pitch resulting in a run of very poor results. These last 3 months convince me that this team is heading the same way.

You can blame injuries, blame the blooding of inexperienced youngsters (who are doing their best in my view) but the buck stops with the manager and his decisions. Why do we go some defensive to start games with only one striker against opposition such as Birmingham (twice), liverpool (poorest team they've had in living memory and without their 3 best current players), Arsenal (when we're at home and they've lost their last 2)? Ditto, Blackburn

Please make a very brave decision and move GH on now. He is yesterdays man. We want someone who is going to come in and inject some passion into the team, have the instant respect of the players and can play to the team strengths. GH has none of these qualities.

Mark my words after watching hundreds of Villa games this will all end in tears and Randy's 4 years of success will be ruined in 6 months.

You may think this is a knee jerk reaction, but it isn't. Everything is very wrong at the club at the moment

    Thanks
