The more I watch other teams the more frustrated I am that at this point there's no improvement or proper plan to build this club.
The more I watch other teams the more it becomes clear in my head that we are absolutely not too good to go down.
Full of good teams in this league.
Honestly I find it terrifying to watch other teams.

Can't see Potter being willing to work under a regime where the CEO has so much power in terms of footballing decisions.

Tuchel ain't surviving much longer

Indeed.
I actually just realised that they are on zero points.
This can work either way against us.
It will either have them low on confidence, or fired up against us, looking at us as an opportunity for 3 points, like Palace
Can you see us dealing with the likes of Rice, Soucek and Antonio?

The Premier League is just getting stronger and stronger every year.
If people think we see too good to go down they need to take a look outside of their Villa bubble.

Cucurella don't look as good once moving away from Potters system.

Chelsea doing a United

Us, Everton and Bournemouth probably currently look the poorest sides in the League based on showings and current form.
Which is worrying, obviously still alot of time for that to change
Agreed.
Looks the worst teams in the league at this moment in time.

The thing is.
Gerrard isn't a great coach. He already admitted that he has relied on Beale for most of the coaching and tactics.
So if he doesn't coach how are we supposed to believe in the football improving?

West Ham look awful at the minute.
Watch Gerrard and Co roll over and make it easy for next week in typical villa fashion.
And that will be the spark west ham need to Kickstart their season.

Tuchel would have been sacked a long time ago had Roman still been the owner

Still early, but a lot of impressive looking teams in the Premiership this season. Seriously think we'll be fighting a relegation battle at this rate, especially under Gerrard.
There are no obvious bad teams except for Bournemouth who beat us

Maybe just me but Leeds don't annoy me nearly as much as when they were managed under Bielsa

Leeds being a very well managed team here. Depressing.
Marsch vastly more experienced than Gerrard.
Also it must be a relief to him after years in Germany and Austria being able to coach by using his native tongue.

Have Brighton now come of age?
Looking like no joke this season!
Beating West Ham now.
It's been a slow gradual progression under Potter.
They've always scored high on the xG table.
None of this is surprising. Sooner or later their bad luck in terms of big chances missed were bound to turn.

I think Gerrard may be the worst manager in the league.
It's either him or Lampard

Made the bench

He's the poster boy of a typical villa signing the last few years.
Weak
Soft underbelly
Confidence player
Frail mentality
Hides when the going gets tough
I don't like this player at all

Perhaps a very good World Cup and someone will take him off us?
You're assuming he will be in the Brazil squad?

they all do now, because it works.
And West Ham will do it too.

Best available managers currently out of work we should be looking at:
- Mauricio Pochettino - Probably not realistic, but we should absolutely contact him first. Best out of work manager in Europe.
- Rafa Benitez - A very controversial suggestion, considering his recent spell with Everton, but he's been successful just about everywhere he's been. Newcastle and Liverpool fans both absolutely adore him and his number 1 strength is organizing defensively.
- Marcelo Bielsa - Turned a mid-table Championship Leeds side into champions, then finished mid-table in the Prem before the magic wore off. Regardless of the Villa v Leeds rivalry recently, we should definitely consider him.
- Marco Rose - Didn't work out for him at Dortmund and I was surprised he wasn't given a bit more time than 1 season, but he was brilliant at Borussia Monchengladbach before that and has all the makings of being the next great German manager.
Potter has been brilliant at Brighton and should also be someone we talk to, but I'm just highlighting that there are others out there who would instantly improve us and would be capable of pushing us into European contention.
Bielsa would relegate us

Very much our Sancho

What is Sarr gonna do?
The reason we lose football games is because we keep getting overrun in midfield.

Daniel Levy Is seen as a great CEO, have you seen some of his appointments? There is no way and rightly so, that Purslow is sacked as a result of Gerrard, unless he keeps Gerrard n the job and relegates us.
Christian Purslow is just a CEO.
He shouldn't have so much power in footballing decisions. Levy is Tottenhams owner.
