What is it with us and loan keepers. Johnstone now, seem to remember we had the then highly rated Scott Carson on loan and he was also S h 1 t

Gollini although not great was better then Johnstone.
He has been shocking since the Spurs game. The main reason i love the loan market, you try before you buy. Think we are all agreed we won't be buying this clown!!!

With all due respect to certain fans I'm glad Xia isn't as rash and emotional as them and understands such a massive overhaul could always take time. As I mentioned before from now until the end of the season is all about stability now with an expectancy of automatic promotion next season.
I think in the long run it is a lot safer to get promoted as a team playing well together no matter what the level rather a team of individuals scraping through for the playoffs.
Well said, now is a time to pull togeather and support. Another manager change results in numerous personnel changes and we are back to square one.

Absolute credit to SB , for flushing this turd out.
Fat dross- had people.questioning the manager, but this turd has given SB no option. We have been crying for a strong manager and in Stevie B, we have one

Bruce -fair play on the radio-no holding back-scathing about fat Ross.
Glad he was upfront, i wouldn't expect a bloke who doesnt turn in for training to be selected. While Kodjia was away, Fat Ross taking the pee at this time, complete disgrace.
-
Not turning up for training. Complete pi ** take. No eccuses whatsoever
WTF is wrong with him, no wonder he can't run.

Jedi and Elphick-costing approx 7m combined, with little sell on, i would imagine.
At least we seemed to have grasped how not to get ripped off under Round and Bruce ☺
-
To think, if we get Houlihane, the combined fee for him and Lansbury at around 4mill is less the what we paid for Tishbola.(5m)
RDM and Stevie Clarke, got mugged off, in more ways then one

just plainly not very good!!
-
gabby doesnt score- so no point in him being in the team
Gestede isn't a world beater but sell him 31 jan not 1st week of jan
. He had to be a be a better option then gabby who we couldn't give away for free.
midfield not fit for purpose.
who would have predicted we might lose against Cardiff and Wolves without midfield improvements-me!!!!

flabby gabby-why???
a striker who doesn't score goals
-
With our options , we need a 4-5-1 formation
Kodjia being the 1 and swapped or added to in game with ayew/mccormack
Midfield 5 as part of a diamond formation should be
Jedi holding
Bacuna/ gardner / tish/ adomah- any permutation of 3 of these, but think adomah has cemented his position as a starter
Grealish behind the main striker.
Then off the bench we have ayew, mccormack, gestede
Flabby needs a p45 cos he is sh1t

When will we realise with the sh*# midfield we have, that we need a minimum of 3 in the middle.
4-2-4 did not work for rubbish damn manager-rdm.
This isn't play station football manager- stick with 442 or 451 to get us to january, then midfield, midfield, midfield. A no brainer

Is Bruce an improvement on RDM- yes-100%
On Tactics Tim -100%
On McLeish -100%
on Lambert - yes but not 100%
Happy as a pig in Sh 1 t with this appointment. Don't care that he managed at the STY many years ago. He talks sense, which is a step up on RDM, Garde, TS, lambert and McLeish.
As for his dealings in the transfer market, I think we have a structure in place where transfers are not the sole domain of the manager. We haven't exactly been successful in the market in years and moving forward this responsibility will rest with Steve Round.
Even in the summer the 4m we gave Palace for Jedinak is looking like 3m too much. So all round transfers need to improve

Adomah and Grealish are both attacking wingers though, which would push us still towards the 424 we are currently doing. I'd go 352. Put baker alongside elphick and Chester.
I agree they are attacking but more workmanlike then ayew or gestede and mcormack. Rdm needs to find 2, 1st choice strikees, who for me kodjia and ayew at the moment. 2 on the bench, gestede and mccormack. Gives options when they tire and quality off the bench.
Man utd when then had Cole , yorke, Sheringham and solksjaer. Never played all 4 together unless desperately seeking an equaliser in the last 10 mins
We still need a winger to provide for kodjia and to me Adomah is going to be very important for this team

Sanchez should have been kept. think he would have been better in the slow tempo'd Championship. Certainly didnt think we would be relying on Westwood and Gardner when we got rid of him.
Agreed but sanchez was dogs doo. Westwood brings nothing to the party and Gardner is never a holding midfielder. I'm shocked we didn't buy 1/2 midfielders more. Even now Flamini is available as a free agent , got to be better then sideways backward no muscle Westwood

Midfield in a 4 4 2
Adomah jedi tsish amavi/ grealish
Then pick 2 out our 4 strikers with 2 on the bench giving options
Easy

He needs to stop over complicating the tactics.
In his autobiography Roy Keane made a good point when he said the championship isn't about tactics. It's about havin characters and leading them properly.
i think there is a lot of truth in that. We have good enough players to get promoted and I don't have concerns about their character but they are being led badly.
I'd like us to get simple. 442. Plenty of teams in the championship play 442 and currently sit above us. I don't see Barnsley playing 424 or 4231. Let's get Two banks of four and two wingers. Amavi left and Adomah right. Jedinak in the middle alongside Ayew (only real ball playing option) and Ross and Kodjia up top.
A Much more solid formation off the ball and provides real width and pace to get at teams.
Theres a reason Warnock et al make a name for themselves in the championship. It's because they know how to do the simple things well and not over complicate what is a very simple league in terms of footballing philosophy.
RDM is providing us with a casserole of nonsense at the moment.
Point very well made. 4 4 2 it isn't rocket science

Rdm formation of players 424
And 2 mids isn't working. We aren't good enough to play 2 mids - no brainer

As long as Westwood stays in that midfield we will never do well. He brings zilch to the party

Strikers are sorted, defence is decent but with tish possibly being injury prone the back up optons jedinak aside, leave us struggling.
Flamini is a free agent and would be an upgrade on Westwood and Gardner, surprised we didn't get another strong CDM in the window

because this stuff is normally kept in house as it may upset other players. Players stick together and some may think "what if Tony tweets bad stuff about me now?"
Not that I disagree with the tweet, I love it. Gabby and all the players need to know their is a new sheriff in town!
I love the tweet, it says it as it is. It also reflects what a number of fans think.
The world has gone PC mad, this bloke in the normal world would have been dismissed a long time ago, as not fit for purpose or up to the job. Instead he is on gardening leave, picking up 60k a week. He doesn't care who he mugs off

The English premier league clubs being linked with Wiltshire according to sky- watford, palace and Bournemouth.
Although we might be a champion ship club we are bigger then those 3 teams

Adomah appears to have a great injury record too, has played 40+ games each of the last six years. Which also displays consistency in performance too, his various managers have all utilised him.
Quick, strong, more promotion experience? £6m? Get him in.
Yep thought the same thing to looking at his appearances. They are no good injured regardless of how good they are

He does need to learn to know when to pass and when to shoot.
He was infuriating last night.
